How ugly will the Celtics collapse be?

How bad?

I think it's going to be ugly. I'm praying that the Cavs don't play them because I think it will be epic in that case. Don't want to see anyone get hurt--and yes I think they may really get that bad.

I can't lie, I'm all excited to see it happen.

More smack talk before anything has actually been won? I used to lean towards the Cavs as the team I rooted for the NBA, but their fans are really turning me off. At one point I wanted to see Cleveland end its' drought... not so much anymore. I have never seen a fanbase that has nothing to hang its' hat on talk as much as these Cavs fans do.

Who gives a fuck?

Honestly, were enjoying our team and watching some of the best years of basketball put up by an individual which happens to be a Cavalier.

Its not our job's to be modest, that is the Cleveland Cavaliers FO, players, and coaches job.

We are simply having fun, if you don't like it then don't read it. Boo fucking hoo, seriously thats all you have posted recently regarding the Cavs.

Honestly, I think they have one good if not great series left in them. But it will most likely be in the first round.

Just sayin'...

I just find it more funny than anything. What does this have to do with the Cavs? "I'm praying that the Cavs don't play them because I think it will be epic in that case."

I wouldn't be surprised if the Celtics put up a little better fight than what you are expecting them to. They aren't completely awful and let's not forget they actually have experience winning something of importance (Not regular season MVP, or Best record in the East).

Yeah, and Ali used to knock people out lol.

If the Cavs play them it won't go past 5 games. I'm just sayin', I think it's going to be some mega drama.

That must really suck for you, since you can't root for any team then. All teams have the same kind of fans.

Eh, I could understand if they had actually won something before and had something to hang their hat on. Just not my style to get all jacked up about running away with the completely awful Eastern conference. To each their own.

Such a lame, tired argument. The past doesn't mean shit.

Do you hear those players running their mouths? Nope, their humble.

We are fans lol. What we say has no pull on whether our team wins or not.

Jordo... I'm pretty sure no one cares if you root for the Cavs or not. But more often than not you seem negative... so good riddance.

I've always hated the argument "well I don't like this team because of their fans". Guess what, every team has terrible fans... that's life. When you frequent a message board based in a certain geographic area.. expect to run into more obnoxious fans from the closest professional sports team... and expect to run into more obnoxious fans for that reason. Mores fans = higher chance to see obnoxious fans.

Ugly?? No! It'll be beautiful. Watching kg get shut up. Well in terms of being out of the playoffs, he will never shut up.

Ray Allen I don't mind

Sheed, alien rondo, big fat baby and Nate can suck it.

Gotta love the cliche "You haven't won anything yet" crap that comes out every time a Cleveland team has a good season.

And then after Lebron gets it done this year "You guys haven't more than 1 championship in 60 years"

GTFO noob.

How am I being negative? I just said that I thought the Celtics might be a little better than the OP thinks they'll be.

Am I being negative because I don't suck Lebron off?

They've been up and down for awhile so I don't necessarily think the Celtics losing will be a collapse.

Unless, for instance, they get knocked out in the first round.

Well, the whole season has been sort of a collapse.

Don't forget, they were pretty much the consensus pick to rep the East this year at the start of the season.

I just think when they go down in flames in the 1st or 2nd round that they're going to go out in an ugly way.

I think the Celtics will show pretty well in the playoffs. They won't advance beyond the 2nd round but the slower pace and more brutal nature of playoff basketball will help them show up. They can't play any other way for extended periods of time, they don't have the flexibility or the depth to change up paces. All that being said if they are going to depend on KG and Pierce to lead them they will be in deep shit. I don't think either of those two have what it takes to put the team on their back for 7 games. The Celtics are best when they play through Rondo and Allen, not Garnett and Pierce, the problem is that Allen and Rondo in particular defer to KG and Peirce far too often.

jordo seems like a douche.

He's always flapping off about Cleveland fans... Nobody gives a shit about the way you feel bro, so give it up. I guess it's fine when certain Lakers fans talk shit about the Cavs fans though, because they've won?

Makes sense, except if you talk shit to ANY fans teambase, expect some shit talked back.

I'm going to enjoy all these years with LeBron, because who knows when the Cavs will be relevant again. If you don't like it, DON'T read it!

I'm a cleveland fan and I think there is some truth to what jordo is saying. I'm sure people on this board who aren't cavs fans get sick of threads like this all the time...and yes lakers fans are certainly just as bad, although they have actually had success before, unfortunately we can't say the same. I'm biting my tongue until June because we saw what happened last year....you think other Cavs fans would do the same but whatever...

I agree with Jordo... to a certain extent. I at least see where he is coming from. There's a good amount of fans here that have a new sense of arrogance with the teams success. It doesn't bother me. I don't lose sleep over it. I don't care if you're great fans or arrogant fans at times. You're not that important for me to care either way. I just state my opinion, then move on; much like you guys do. There is no harm in acting that way, or in any way for that matter. People just sound like fools sometimes. As a big fan of the NBA, and decently intelligent guy, I find it easy to notice the arrogance and lack of respect from a portion of the Cavs fanbase on here. It's okay to be confident in your team, but you don't need to disrespect other teams to do so. But if you want to, go for it. Everything is graavvyy.

This has nothing to do with the Cavs, even though I'm a fan.

The C's lost to the fuckin' Knicks tonight. And EARL BARRON had 17 and 18. Are you kidding me? THEY'RE FIGHTING FOR A PLAYOFF SPOT. LOL, starting a thread about a collapse had NOTHING to do with the Cavs.

The most obvious thing isn't the arrogance of Cavs fans, it's the the incredible rush to knock Cavs fans down so quickly about anything.

I could see the Celtics just getting totally fucked in the playoffs, and I could also see them making things interesting. I think they can win a round especially with Bogut done but after that it'll be Orlando, Atlanta, or Cleveland. While I don't think they could beat those teams(especially not Cleveland) I do think it could be more competitive than expected. The Cs are pretty good on the road so if they were to steal one of the first two and get a raucous playoff crowd behind them at home I think they could make it a drawn out series. At this point though, being good on the road is about all they have going for them.
