They just haven't done that, and Boston hasn't allowed them to get away with half ass basketball. This isn't the Chicago Bulls, every prediction I made before the series was made knowing full well Boston would play their hearts out. I had no reason to think the Cavs wouldn't play their best basketball though.
I know your feelings on running but there are some things we forget about half court. We waste 10 seconds before Mo let's go of the ball and 15 when Delonte has it. Then it's been 5 seconds into Shaq.. that doesn't leave a whole lot of time to do much after the fact. Too slow...period.

Right, I agree. We aren't playing well in the half court, doesn't mean we have to do something we haven't done most of the year--which is run. We just need to buckle down and execute. Be aggressive, add some intensity. Attack. All things we usually do well, now we're not for whatever reason. And Boston is playing well defensively, we just look like we straight up aren't trying most of the time.

I think, and just my opinion, is we're looking for those open flashes to the hoop we get against Indiana and the fuckin' Knicks...news flash Mike Brown...they ain't coming. Boston, Orlando...Lakers aren't giving that shit up in a seven game. Need to pick up the pace...our athleticizm is much better.

If the Cavs play them it won't go past 5 games. I'm just sayin', I think it's going to be some mega drama.
I know you guys have been harrassing each other for 11 pages about this already, but I simply couldn't invest the time to read all that retardedness.

In regards to this post from page 1, I just had to say WHOOPS :) The humble pie continues to be distributed.

Actually, the series would have been over in 5 if not for Mo's great run in Game 1.

Dude you can't even deny that SQ has it coming to him for this retarded thread, just like I had it coming to me for my absentminded Thad thread.

WHOOPS!

How am I the one accused of bashing when SQ was the one belittling the Celtics before this series even started? I just find it funny how much Cavs fans boasted and bragged about their team this year and now they have themselves in a tight spot. Humility and being humble are still a very big part of sports. Just because you have one of the best teams in the league, doesn't mean you can't be beat.

Ask most longtime diehard Laker fans. They, including I, would say you're wrong.

I want to settle the score from 08....bring on the Celtics!

Hm a rematch of a classic championship series or a series between the best 2 players in the game with a bunch of teammates who can't step up (Cavs). Sounds like Lakers/Celtics is a bigger series to me. SQ is wrong once again. Maybe we should just start saying he's right, because he's never been right before, so maybe the reverse psychology will stop him from posting....

Wishful thinking...

I'm wrong? LMAO

The Finals would get no better ratings than Kobe/LeBron.

If you don't believe that, I'm not surprised. We've already established that you're a dumbass.

Who's we? I'm pretty sure you're the only dumbass on this thread, in fact theres plenty of examples of you being a dumbass.

If you're referring to my erroneous Gibson thread I've already manned up to numerous times, I've already stated on here that I can't help Gibson changed his mind and I only posted what I heard, and then went on to make an extremely stupid remark.

^^^^ See what I did there? I took responsibility for a mistake. I have no doubt in my mind you have the intellectual capability to take responsibility, however you lack the basic intellect to even know when you're wrong, which is the majority of the time.

No surprise you're an inbred hick from Salem, they sure know how to teach em well there.

What mistakes do you want me to own up to?

Celts-Lakers would get higher ratings. Cmon. Two large markets. Celts-Lakers. Think about it.

It's a moot point tho. It'll be Lakers/Magic. If Boston does get thru... Then it will certainly be a pleasant surprise.

Well, considering the lowest ratings since the 1970s occured in the Cavs-Spurs series and the highest ratings of the past 5 years was Lakers-Celtics, I'd say you, SQ are the fucking dumbass.

But wait, let's see if SQ finds a way to somehow disregard my empirical evidence with his own opinion, thus rendering my facts wrong...

Seems to happen all the time.

Considering that was 2007 it has very little relevance.

Kobe/LeBron, nuff said.

It's what everyone wanted to see since the beginning of LAST season.
