I stand by my statements.

I'm enjoying the LeBron years, but I can be pissed if I want to be.

Just because you enjoy a player doesn't mean you can't call him out.. No matter what, LeBron is NOT above the team or this city in which I root for.

yeah I wasn't really referring to you. you were pretty on target in your analysis. it was the others who argued with and called out us non-Cavalier fans who are now agreeing with us, who I was targeting

I am all for the merciless degredation and clowning of sq_crazies. In fact, I revel it.

For what I think would be the best series:

Orlando and Phoenix

For what I would like to see:

Orlando and LA

I'd like to see Suns vs Orlando. That would be a lot of fun. Lots of 3s and fast paced basketball

Lets face it. There is no bigger potential match up than Cleveland and LA.

The lights aren't out yet man. Though I do admit, I've finally broken that sweat. I said I would if they lost tonight, but I'm still optimistic. It's STILL just about effort--it just hasn't been there. Very concerning but hopefully they can find a way to fix it.

Worst case scenario I see right now is that they've lose their "glue". Their trust. Which may be hard to fix in a matter of a few days--I'm not sure if that's the case because I can't put my finger on a reason (could be something we don't know yet) but sometimes it really seems like that. You don't go from a team who is BRILLIANT at defensive rotations to being completely lost over night. Maybe there is something deeper going on. And you have to give the C's credit, it's not as if they're stealing games from the Cavs--they're playing very well in their own right. I'm the first to admit I didn't think they had this in them.

I give credit where credit is due, the Celtics are playing fine...

How many times has LeBron shot for fucking times in one half this season like he has twice this series?

He just isn't being aggressive. They have no wind in their sails. The entire team is that way. LeBron was tonight--most of them have been the whole series. Shaq is the only one who has consistently done his job. I don't understand it, but it seems fixable, they just have to get back to doing what they spent 82 games finding out they could do. We'll see.

The Magic are going to destroy the Celtics in 4 merciless games, so you don't have to worry about a Lakers/Celtics Finals.

Jamison has been ok...his D on Garnett (tough not blocking shots--he's been right in his face) is OK. Parker has been fine, Mo was good for at least a half on Rondo...our X factor has been LBJ. He's more than capable...Brown needs to get in the boys face a little I think.

If you had listened to talk radio around here a couple of weeks ago you'd have thought the Cavs got a gift getting the Celtics instead of Atlanta in the 2nd round. I can't count the number of people that used to call in proclaiming the Celtics were "finished", "Old", "warn out" because they played .50% ball the past 4 months.

I can't help but think the Cavs players themselves didn't buy into that mentality that the Celtics were on the downside and "done". They have not had the type of intensity you would expect pretty much the whole series now, and seem very unprepared. Someone must have forgot to tell Boston their time had passed.

Tonight was definitely on LeBron, I mean the entire team needed to play better defense but it's tough when your best player never gets going. I hope MB does get in his face, just piss him off. Then you'll see what he's made of. Don't be a dick, just say it like it is--this is your team, is this how you want to be remembered? Go out and do what everyone knows you can do. Enough bullshit.

The good thing about LeBron though, is that he understands that there is still another game to be played. He knows how big it is, sometimes shots don't fall but I'll be VERY, VERY, VERY shocked if at the end of game 6, regardless of outcome or LeBron's stat line if anyone can say he didn't play hard.

The Celtics aren't going down without a fight. Everyone knew that would be the case, but when the Cavs play the way they're capable of playing, that doesn't matter. They just haven't done that, and Boston hasn't allowed them to get away with half ass basketball. This isn't the Chicago Bulls, every prediction I made before the series was made knowing full well Boston would play their hearts out. I had no reason to think the Cavs wouldn't play their best basketball though.
