I read about this in the paper. My first thought is that there is more to the story. The niece was a 19 year old girl and from what I have heard, there may have been some jealousy issues with the aunt who shot her. Was the 19 year old messing around with the Auntie's man??

Holy shit, that's ridiculous.

I'm glad my mother-in-law didn't shoot me for wearing plaid shorts and a tshirt for Easter dinner.

Never understood having to dress up because of religion. I mean, I understand it but it just seems like another good example of how it's some conformist bullshit to me.

I've completely stopped dressing up for anything outside of funerals and weddings. Anything else and it's either jeans or shorts and a tshirt.

Me too. I actually went to a job interview once for a frickin' labor job in jeans and a t-shirt and the guy was like, "that's what you wear to a job interview?" Then I told him yes, it's a labor job--didn't realize I was going to court and he actually agreed that my attire was proper in the end lol.

When I interviewed for my current job I found out that there was no dress code beforehand. I wore jeans and a tshirt to both interviews. It was glorious.

I agree. I've never dressed up for any of the interviews I've been on. Then again, I've never interviewed for any job that would be called white collar. If you wear jeans and a t-shirt for the job, why would any employer want you to dress up, it doesn't make sense to me.

I mean, I like to put a suit on--but why the hell am I wearing a tie at Christmas dinner in my own house? Or to church? Does it even make sense that God would be petty enough to judge you for not wearing a suit and tie to church? LOL

I don't know of any church that says God judges you for not dressing up when at church. LOL

Pretty sure Jesus wore a robe and sandals so I don't think God will care.

A lot of people don't go to church because they don't own the type of clothes they think people think they should wear if they go.

Ya see new types of churches popping up saying to come as you are and those churches are getting good reviews.

People roll in there wearing all types of stuff including pajamas.

In other words, People of Walmart will soon have a spinoff site, "People of (insert name of) Church". Awesome!
