I am baffled with the new plates... How many changes have we had in the last 5 years? All that money spent on something so stupid. The new plate looks horrible. Ohio is the only state that you can drive down the road and see 7 different variations of a license plate... I have 3 cars and each of them have different plates on them. I was given the option to get the new plate and said no because it looked terrible.

First change since late 2003, so to answer your question, zero.

Virginia has over 200 unique plates. I guess we can say that you are an uninformed idiot?

Well aren't you special... something I was unaware of, but it still doesn't change the fact that the new plates are ugly as hell.

And by the way, remind me to tell you what an arrogant fuck tard you are next time you are on.

My Lord people, are we really this agitated by a license plate? Ohio is a farm State. Much of our economic success over the years has come from our agricultural productivity. our county fair is one of the popular events of the season. We are not California. Our beaches aren't as glamorous. We are not Florida. We, in short, are Ohio. While I agree that perhaps the plate is somewhat juvenile in it's artistic merit, we are who we are and it's nothing to be ashamed about. It certainly doesn't mean we "suck". For me personally, I like a little artistic value in my license plates. I think a plain white background with black raised numbers is really boring and creates a much more literal feeling that we truly do "suck" if that's all we can come up with. We are the home of the Wright Brothers, the land of aviation if you will. We have a number of beautiful old lighthouses dotting the lake shores of Ohio, there are a lot of beautiful and very artistic scenes that one can imagine about the Buckeye State. I personally also believe that a field of wheat or corn is a beautiful tribute to who we are as well. Finally, I think that our State bird makes a beautifully artistic symbol of the Buckeye State. Let's get upset about things that are really important. I say let's keep what we are about as the center piece of our license plates. Perhaps we should concentrate on making them a little more professional and artistic in appearance and then we should be just fine.

I am not a fan of the new plates.....I want some of the party plates. Do they still issue those? I have heard that people were bitching and they were thinking of getting rid of them.
