If you have a Bentley, you could probably afford the ticket for driving without the plate each time you get pulled over.

I saw a car from Alabama today. That license plate had the words "Sweet Home" across the top, then the tag number, and the word "Alabama" along the bottom.

Any state that prints Skynyd lyrics on their license plates is my kind of state.

That one isn't bad at all.

Reminds me of old Indiana plates a little bit.

When I went to get plates for my car I definitely opted for the old blue/red/white version over this new crap.

They now say "Stars fell on Alabama" just as cheesy.

Not a fan. When I first saw them I thought they were Iowa plates.

That's why I like Michigan's. Some people are grandfathered to older ones (Like ohioians will be with the sunburst), but the standard one is nice and simple.

I like the old Michigan one's too

But it seems like every state has a similar plate out there.

Ok, I'm done

I was not defending living in the state. I was more commenting on the fact they have the balls to print the lyrics on their license plates.

Personally I don't like the design, especially the powder blue and yellow. That said it is the least of my concerns with the state of Ohio.

Ohio's sunburst plate always fooled me with Idaho's standard red/white/blue plate. The new plate is simply the evolution of the license plate. The new Alabama, South Carolina, and current Mississippi plates have gone with that 'scene' look, as opposed to simple colors.

Want to see clutter, check out Texas' standard plate.

Moon, Space Ship, Cowboy, Oil Derricks, Tumbleweed, etc all on a plate that's almost imperceptible.
