I usually just laugh it off, but that should be his expertise, health and nutrition being a professional gym class professional.

He's forgotten so much that he's become the site's least intelligent person on that topic. Keeping him consistent with every other topic he comments upon.

The problem I have is that most politicians do not give a ......... ( pick your bad word) about your health or even theirs.  Just look at their life styles, ,Their bodies fitness and the truth is they are just trying to find another way to get your and my money and at the same time make it that they can justify doing it,

money is power....

And the sad part is, many of the "average" politicians have convinced the electorate that rich people are out of touch and don't understand the common man....but MOST of those "average" politicians are making a career in politics to get rich, and others leave after a period of time to become overpaid lobbyists or some other way to monetize their influence.

We can vote them out - it's only corrupt in the sense that the electorate is too lazy, disinterested and ignorant to do anything about it.

Also, I don't remember the parties being run with such an iron fist.  Seems like plenty of moderates used to cross over the aisle routinely.  You would never see 48 Dems in the Senate all browbeaten into voting a party line.  Because the message is if you don't play ball, the DNC will primary you.
