Went to the Mud Hens/Clippers tonight, and walked away extremely impressed with catcher Eric Haase...he's not as polished defensively as Gomes, but looks comfortable at the plate and has a nice swing. However, he's definitely an upgrade for Perez, so I could see Roberto on the block as part of a package, especially if someone needs a serviceable backstop.
I think the magic number is now at 71
And we're off to a 3-0 start.
Perez is so fricking bad—bring Haase up and give Roberto his outright release, cause I doubt anyone wants him
