I HATE this trade with a passion!! Eddie is a fan favorite (one of mine as well) and GREAT team player. E-Money is instant offense and I do not like Nate's attitude or the way he plays the game. I was perfectly fine with Ainge standing pat and doing nothing. Robinson better prove he was worth trading Eddie for!

Chris mannix said the cavs can get Jamison without using hickson. If this is true, count me off the amar'e safari!! If we can keep jj then I'm all for that!!!

Its not what LeBron wants first.

Why get off the Amar'e train when you are basically swapping an All Star PF who is 27 for an upcoming "possible" star?

The Wizards deal is lined up something along the lines of Z/Moon/1st for Jamison/James. Its on speed dial but the Suns are first in line.

You guys can have Amar'e. Apparently, the Suns want Beasley, Haslem, and both 1st round picks for Amare, and would possibly like to move Beasley sooner rather than later. I wouldn't give the Suns Beasley, QRich, and Wright for Amare. He's a very good talent, but he's played with MVP's before and a top 25 player at one time in Marion... they still couldn't get it done, or even close. Amare doesn't really help this team this year, or next year. He'd simply take up all the cap space. Amare isn't 12.6M better than Beasley.

The Suns were never built to win a championship, at least not in my eyes. They were built to be exciting, and that's exactly what they were. When it came down to it in the playoffs, they didn't have the pieces needed to compete with the upper teams when the intensity steps up. A team that couldn't care less about defense is most likely not going to be winning any championships.

Chad Ford: For weeks, sources close to the situation have asserted to ESPN.com that the Wizards were reluctant to trade Antawn Jamison. Over the course of the last 72 hours, however, it appears that the Wizards' position on Jamison has softened considerably.

Sources say the Wizards and Cavs had discussions on Tuesday about several potential deals that would send Jamison to Cleveland. The same sources said talks ended without a firm offer from Cleveland.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the Wizards are waiting on the Cavs to see if those potential deals become an actual trade.

"The ball is in Cleveland's court," one source told ESPN.com. "If Cleveland comes back with a firm offer based on the potential deals they discussed, I think the Wizards will move Jamison."

The Wizards' new stance on Jamison is being fueled by two factors. First, the trade of Caron Butler and Brendan Haywood for Josh Howard has left the team lacking in talent. Jamsion signed an extension with the club 18 months ago expecting to be on a contender. Now that the Wizards are in rebuilding mode, Jamison would like to be traded to a contender.

"Jamison is a great guy," one source said. "He's been a model player for the Wizards on and off the floor. The Wizards don't want to lose him. He's been a rock in the locker room. However, I think the Wizards want to do right by him. He's at the end of his career. He deserves to have a chance to win a title."

The other factor is that the Wizards are currently over the NBA's luxury tax threshold. At least one potential deal discussed with Cleveland on Tuesday (Jamison and Mike James for Zydrunas Ilgauskas and Jamario Moon) would put the Wizards below the tax this season. Getting below the tax could save the Wizards around $10 million this year once you factor in rebates that teams under the tax receive from the league.

If the Cavs decide to pull the trigger on the Amare Stoudemire deal instead, look for the Wizards to explore ways of trading Jamison this summer.

Oh No Windy just got done with a chat I listed two.

Here is a quick rundown.

-Amar'e deal may happen as soon as today.
-Heat are only contenders for him, haven't gotten a reasonable offertogether.
-Need a 3rd team but cannot find one.
-Suns deal is motivated by $$$ and Cleveland offers the most relief.
-Cavs will try to sign Amar'e right away.
-90% that Cavs get either Amar'e or Jamison
-Jamison deal set up, not officially offered because the Wiz could take it.
-Murphy is not an option anymore.
-Corey M. is an option but not likely.
-Cleveland could make a small 2nd deal for a SG.

No but he has a huge say in things just like any other major star.

Kobe complained publicly, got what he wanted.
Wade is complaining and the Heat are trying hard.

LeBron is saying who he likes best, not complaining because the Cavs are #1.

When its Cleveland and LeBron is the only reason the Cavs are on TV, in championship contention, selling the Q out every night, selling mass merchandise.

Yes, he'll have a huge say when he is the main reason why the Cavaliers are where they are.

Its business.

Sorry, but the superstars like Kobe, Dwade and Lebron do run the team. Teams cannot afford to lose them, so they get everything they want. Should it be like that.....no, but it is just the way it is.

Boo hoo.

Cleveland may be adding Amar'e fucking Stoudamire for Z/JJ/Green/1st.

I'd say Ferry is a little excited about this one also.

Maybe, but people pay a lot of money to watch guys like Lebron, so it is good business to keep them happy. If Lebron left the Cavs, the organizations value wouldn't be half of what it currently is.
