ESPN showed a stat tonight that the Lakers since 2004(post Shaq) are 21st in the NBA in win % without Kobe. With him since that time they're at 62% which I would imagine is at or close to the top of the league in that time frame. For what it's worth I don't necessarily think this shows how much of a difference Kobe makes to the Lakers; I think that disparity would be similar if you looked at any of the elite teams...Cavs without Lebron, Celtics minus KG, Lakers without Kobe, Orlando without Howard. We've seen the difference between the C's with/without KG, Miami with/without Dwyane Wade, etc.

Player A- Jordan
Player B - Kobe
Player C - Lebron
Player D - Bird

I added Bird because I think his stats are very impressive.
