Oh what the fuck ever, have you ever been there? I bet they have a shrine to LeBron there right now--in or not, anyone who is walking through the place thinks he is. The basketball HOF is stupid.

So the all-time leaders list is how we define the best at something? You think Robert Parish, Karl Malone, Buck Williams,and Kareem are better rebounders than Rodman? And does this translate to other things, such as if/when Lebron finishes with more career points than Kobe he'll be the better scorer in your mind?

Skyhook will probably never admit that LeBron is a better scorer than Kobe, even then.

I'm thinking the same thing. If Horry is in because of his 7 NBA championships, wouldn't that mean Rodman deserve the same since he has 5? Not to forget the number of years Dennis led the league in rebounding.

I never mentioned Kobe or Lebron. Like I said before your the Town Drunk on here only dumber and nobody really pays any attention to what you say.

I was just showing you the list. Are you telling me he should be in the same category as a rebounder as Wilt,Russell,Thurmond or even Wes Unseld?????

I think he's in that category, yes. I'd probably rank all 4 of them above him, but not by much. I think he's the best of the last 25 years if I was to break it into eras.

I said "he's arguably the best ever" and you replied with "maybe top 20" and then backed it up with the all-time leaders list, which is a absurd way to rank people, hence my response.

Why do people think Vince Carter is HOF worthy. What the hell has he done in his career to make him a HOF? OH he won a dunk contest and dunked over a an Italian guy in the Olympics. He has no business being there, especially with how below average he has been the last 5 years.

Besides Lebron, Vince Carter may have been the most physically gifted and athletic player to ever play the game. He just never put it all together and it’s a shame because his upside was tremendous. Bruce Bowen said on ESPN that Vince is just as good as Kobe talent wise, but the difference between Kobe and Vince is that Kobe 'wants' it. He said he never got that out of Vince defending him. So I personally don't think Vince Carter is a Hall of Fame player, but I added him to the list because there are those who believe he does. I'm not sure why though.

I would probably say no to all of them with the exception of Rodman, he is a maybe. He is the only one on the list who I feel "dominated" a certain aspect of the game when he was on the floor. When he was playing, you expected him to get every rebound, dive after loose balls, play tough Defense.

Robert Horry?? Why not John Salley? This would be the equivalent to letting Matt Millen into the Football Hall of Fame because he won 4 Superbowl rings.

2quick - Don't get me wrong, that dunk over Italian guy was amazing and one of the best dunks I have ever seen. However, one dunk and a dunk contest doesn't get you in the HOF. He has had an underachieving career and never gotten to the level he should have. Not a hall of famer in my mind.
