Anybody who says Andy isn't worth the money is an idiot and should START watching Cavs games so next time they come on here and post, they'll have a clue about what the fuck they're talking about..
I used to DESPISE Andy because he didn't do much but flop, however he has vastly improved as a player. The guy HARDLY flops any more and is now one of the better defensive big men in the league. He routinely gives opposing players head aches and his activity is usually needed on this sometimes lethargic Cavs team.
By the way, the poll is flawed. I ruined everything because I voted "no".. shame on me.. I should read the question more carefully next time lol. I meant to vote yes, he is worth a damn.
THIS (well except for the last paragraph...how you're a screw-up when it comes to polls, while personally embarrassing for you, doesn't take from the argument) is the truth.
Andy's the definition of a glue guy. He's never going to be great stat-wise, but he will do all the dirty work to win. He's the guy that outleaps 2-3 opposing players to tip a rebound to a teammate. He's the guy who dives on the ground to snare a loose ball or force a jump ball. He's the guy who takes (flop or not) key charges. I honestly think Bill Simmons was right during the previous season when he put him FAR higher in his MVP column than most people would even contemplate. Regardless of his stat line, he seems to make a noticeable impact more often than not.
