Jets better not go in and not score and play like crap. At least play a tough game like they've been playing.

I don't believe the media from Saturday night that said the Colts can't be run on. Jets offensive line and running backs can have success.

It will be interesting too see how the Jets do with the Colts passing attack. They blitz a lot, which has been Mannings best offense over the years...

In both games, Revis did a good job on the outside but the Jets left a lot open over the middle.

It hasn't resulted in that many points but a lot of completions over the middle.

You have to think Mannning will have the same success and probably more in terms of finishing drives. Maybe not. Jets will have to hang in there and hold to FGs and stuff like that to keep the score down.

I would like to thank the Ravens and the Jets for pulling the upsets and giving us the easiest rout to the Super Bowl. Not that any game is a gimme in the NFL, but I'm glad that we are facing the Jets instead of the Chargers and that we had the Ravens instead of New England.

If the Jets play like they did in the 2nd half today, they'll win. I don't think they'll play that good because of a better opponent. Colts, but close.

I hate the Colts and Manning so much, I would ALMOST rather have them lose then have the Saints win the Superbowl.

Im interested to see what Manning does with Wayne/Revis. Will he just avoid throwing to Reggie at all and look to Clark, Garcon, Collie etc all game. If anyone is able to find an area where Revis is lacking it will be Peyton, but I dont think he will find one. I think the only way Wayne gets involved in this game is with bubble screens and underneath stuff. Reggie is very good at those routes, though he doesnt prefer them, but I think its the only way to get him the ball with any chance to do anything with it after the catch.

I expect Clark to have a huge day if the Jets have the same basic gameplan as this week. Gates got 8 catches for almost 100 yards and the other TE had the TD grab in the back of the endzone.

For the Jets to win Sanchez is going to have to have a big game. Greene and Jones will be able to have moderate success, but it wont be enough. Sanchez is going to have around 15 3rd downs I would think. He is going to have to be able to convert around 5-7 of those imo. I think the Colts are very good at being able to limit rushing team and force the QB to beat them on 3rd downs. They did it to Flacco twice this year, among other teams, and that will be the case again Sunday. If Sanchez can get the big conversions and some big plays downfield the Jets will be in the game. If not, Im just not convinced the Jets will be able to score. Conversely, no matter how well they play on D, I dont see the Colts with less than 20 pts.

I just don't see the Jets taking this one. I can't pick a team with a rookie quarterback to beat Peyton Manning and the Colts. The Jets defense may be great, but so is Peyton Manning. He has demonstrated the ability to pick apart good defenses throughout his career. I think Peyton desperately wants that 2nd ring to cement his legacy amongst the greats of all time. I think Indy will dare Sanchez to beat them. I expect to see their safeties rolled up close to the LOS, daring the Jets to throw the ball.

pmoney....not sure how you hate Peyton Manning. He's probably one of the quietest, most respectful, most entertaining, and best qb's to ever play the game. His commercials just crack me up and prove what a cool guy he is. I'm not even a Colts' fan, but it's hard not to like Peyton. Quality young man from a quality family.

As a Steelers' fan, i'm cheering for a Colts vs Vikings matchup in the Super Bowl. It'd be great to see Favre and Manning go at it. Regarding the Jets and Colts game.....the trend of boring games continues with the Colts winning by 17+.

People hate Manning because of the media love for him, which I understand. I love the guy, but Im a Colts fan. But I seriously dont think Ive ever heard of anyone that doesnt like HIM. Either its he is a rival, they hate the NFL love, the media love, etc. I dont know anyone who does/could hate Manning as a player or person.

Conversely, Rivers today showed the reasons why I have never liked him. He whines and is a huge baby during games. He runs his mouth all the time, and frankly hasnt backed it up in the postseason. I also cant stand the way Tom Brady is cocky with the media, but tries to play it off as funny or in a way that perceives him to be modest. I dont think he is a bad guy or that he whines on the field etc. So I respect all that.

I like Manning, I think he is a great football player, but everything I have heard from people who have met him is that he is a dickhead. But, like I said, I like him.

Nothing better than Rivers looking like a fool today on the Revis interception. As much as I think the Colts will win this game, I absolutely love the play of Revis. What an unbelievable player....What's even better is that he does his job in a respectful fashion. He doesn't go overboard on celebration, he doesn't run his mouth, and he takes care of his business. Kid let's his play do the talking - only about 5% of the NFL actually does this. Hats off to this guy!

Agreed. You can bet Peyton likely has been watching film on the Jets since about 7pm tonight and will continue to do so throughout the week. I honestly would not be surprised if the Colts smoke the Jets in this one.

btw, Ive met him a few times and seen him around the city. Not a dickhead at all. He doesnt like to be pointed out (because it will delay him for hours in Indy), but he will take pictures/sign autographs for people if they are polite. But honestly, when I see him in restaurants people just kind of ignore him (as much as you can ignore Peyton Manning). They see him and after 13 years in the city, it isnt as big a deal to people. I think they respect what hes done so much that they in turn respect his life.

I dont know though, he may be a dick in other circumstances. But when he is out in public in Indy, which really isnt that much, he is a great citizen. He was also kind enough to give me an interview for my radio show when he was in town to watch an Indiana basketball game a few years ago. He certainly didnt have too, but before the game he was in the media room with everyone and I approached him and he gave us a solid 7 minute soundbite before leaving to take his seat.

I think if he is a dick it is probably when people try to talk to him after he has just played a game/practice and has already been hounded by the media which he is required to talk to. But thats the case with most athletes Ive encountered. They dont wanna be bothered after talking to the "real" media.

Jets weren't supposed to beat the Bengals or the Chargers so I know no one is going to give them a chance in this game either. Just the fact that they have made it this far is good enough for me. I'll be headed to the game and I'll enjoy it win or lose.
