But I'm surprised LeBron only had 16 going into the fourth. He should've done what he did in the fourth for a lot longer. He was playing against chumps.
LOL, you're an idiot.

Huh? My statement still makes total sense. The coach takes the ball out of LeBron's hands and his teammates miss FT's down the stretch...doesn't mean what he did wasn't incredible. Doesn't mean he still didn't carry the team.
Cool, if you think it still makes perfect sense. I'm all about the Ws.

Yeah, LeBron should probably just average 50 per game. What's he thinking?

I need a fucking cigarette. Fuck Gaines.

You're right about him though TB, great story.

I just can't believe this shit. Play like shit all night in a building that you know you're going to have to play well in and then when you're saved by LeBron again you find a way to piss it away.

Wrong.
That's why ppl hate arguing with you.

"Wrong."

What a piss poor response.
What a piss poor comment...LeBron should have scored 60? He scored fucking 20 points in the 4th quarter. He brought them back by himself, saying something like he should have scored 60 is fucking asinine. There is no way you can watch that and say "LeBron should have done more". That's the stupidest fucking thing I've ever heard but that's always the line, it's incredible. I'm not saying this to spark "the debate" right now but it's the best example I can think of because it's so recent--Kobe scores 11 or whatever the other night and he's a hero because he hit 1 big shot at the end, but his teammates picked up the slack. LeBron scores 20 in the 4th, 36 overall and has a hell of a stat line to go with it and since they lost due to his teammates missing FT's he should have done more. Ridiculous...
I never once said I agreed with him.

Instead of "Wrong", you should've posted this paragraph and I wouldn't have said a word.
Or just don't say a word because it had nothing to do with you and you just wasted your time and mine to have this pointless side conversation, not to mention everyone else's time assuming they read it.
I guess I missed the point of a message board.

Look how much he dominated when he wanted to in the fourth.

He scored like 20 points in a few minutes and only had 16 through three quarters.

I know he was playing as a team but I think he could've tore this team apart.

I'm all about the W's too, why do you think I'm pissed right now? But my statement said nothing about winning the game, it was still a great example of how he carries the team and it was without a doubt a great individual performance.

It just blows my mind how people will call LeBron out for not scoring 60 before they call his teammates out for not making FT's.

Looked good as soon as it left his hands. Right before the Jazz threw it in, I looked at a co-worker and said the Cavs will win this but that Gaines kid has been nice. Speechless right after it went in.

Exactly, 23 TO's lost them the game. But that's still no excuse for missing FT's and still no excuse for Mike Brown to take the ball out of LeBron's hands down the stretch.

I wasn't thrilled about getting the ball in to Parker as many times as he did, should have been LBJ. Parker shouldn't be taking all of those shots down the stretch.

The turnovers definitely took away a lot of opportunities.

I'm not sure you understand my point, you're just frustrated at the close loss.

LeBron decided to take over with three minutes left and Utah was scared. I think he could've exerted himself earlier and gone off for a huge night. Maybe that's on the team and coaches for not letting him do that.

Dude, you just down go out on the third/fourth game of a road trip and pull 60 out of your ass at will.

a well deserved loss. no one played well for the entire game aside from jawad. lebron coasted for about 44 minutes of the game and then decided to turn it on - if he doesn't coast, we win

and as bad as mo was for the whole game (seriously might be one of his worst as a cav), having him not in there at the end was killer because with lebron having to inbound the ball (because we all know how badly everyone not named lebron struggles with those), we had to rely on z and ap...not good

When you outscore a team by yourself in the 4th quarter there is nothing more you could have done as an individual. He did his job and you can't say otherwise. He shouldn't have to score 36, let alone 60. Not to mention he's worn down by the recent tear he's been on, I'm not assuming that, that was talked about on ESPN. Saying anything negative about LeBron's effort tonight is absolute bullshit, it's a team game and the other guys need to do their jobs. He bailed them out and did his job, you can't deny that. Make FT's and that shot doesn't matter.

No, he should've scored more than 16 in the first three quarters. I'm sorry but I just think he was so much the best player on the court in this game. He saved the best for last but did coast through the earlier parts of the game, along with the rest of the team, and it caused them to fall behind an inferior team. It's a long season and you can't get up for every minute, I guess.

the whole team (outside of jawad) sucked tonight lebron included. this team takes it cues from him and if he's coasting, they coast. sure lebron turned it on with about five minutes to go to make it interesting but he shouldn't have had to. play like you want to be there for the game and we don't need that miraculous stretch

You somehow blame LeBron for this loss? You absolutely cannot be serious.

Sq Crazies is right. When Mo fouled out, you have to get the ball to James. He is a very clutch free throw shooter.

Parker should never be trusted in that situation again.

Cleveland deserved to lose this game. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.. Played like SHIT the entire game. The body language seemed like they didn't care, and neither do I, because I know this team is coasting through certain games... You can just tell they are. I think they took a page out of the Shaq-led Lakers teams in which they don't always go 100% in the regular season and then will turn it on in the post season.. Seriously though, it's an 82 game season and this team owns the best record in the East and is only 1 game behind LA for the best record in the NBA...

The thing that pisses me off though, is when the Cavs actually lose, all these fucking ignorant posters come on here and get in their shots. It kind of gets old. Especially when NONE of the top teams have been playing great basketball lately...

I just look at how dominant he was in the final three minutes of the game and he wasn't the first three quarters and a half. I was exaggerating with the 60 points but I think this was a game he could've gone for about 40-45. That's just how I feel about it.

It's hard to really define enough. As in, did he do enough. Of course I think 36 and 20 in the fourth is a great game and that's all you can ask from a human in a basketball game. You're not going to blame him for the loss when there were a lot of turnovers and other factors.

I'm going more on the matchup and the fact that it didn't look like anyone from Utah could guard him when he really tried.
