To me destroying these statues is the same as the Taliban destroying historical Buddhist statues. It's not a good idea. I love your idea of moving them to battlefields and civil war cemeteries. Can we keep the history without glorifying slavery? I think it's important to do so.

Also arguing against the destruction of these statues and defending the kkk/Nazis leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
The states rights argument is bullshit. Read the documents the secession conventions issued at the time, starting with the first state to leave, South Carolina. they gave the real reason, they wanted to protect and expand slavery. That was the state's right they were willing to fight for.
After World War II there was a real effort in Germany to remove signs of Nazism because it was a despicable evil. To many Americans the signs glorifying the Confederacy honor another despicable evil.

I am not a huge fan of Trump at all, but if you truly believe that antifa and BLM (especially BLM) are not racist then you may want to look up the definition of racism and/or check out some of their past protest chants/speeches.

There is no spin. Robert Byrd was a Klansman; taxpayers paid for buildings and highways honoring him; no one protesting because he was a democrat. Own it.

And you, like Donald Trump see a moral equivalency between anti fascist and BLM with the Nazis and KKK. You might want to check out the past lynching and mass murders of those groups.

Byrd apologized for his membership and supported legislative efforts to aid the community. Actions that are beyond David Duke and Donald Trump.

Murders in the last say decade the BLM actually has more than the other 3 combined.

All 4 of them are very fringe elements/groups that are racist at their core beliefs. What else do you really believe they are?

The current KKK and Nazi organizations are just as minor league. Use your brain for once on here. The "Nazi's" in the US aren't rounding up Jews or have any similarity to the German Nazis (who by the way weren't conservative, nationalist SOCIALISTS). And the KKK, as mentioned previously, have nowhere near the same numbers nor act like the ones from the early 1900's. I know you know all this and just want to act like a moron, but come on.

Lol completely made up. I mean really did you just pull this out of your ass? Please provide evidence for this claim. To help you out Xavier Micah Johnson from the Dallas shooting was a member of the Houston Chapter of the New Black Panther Party and not BLM so you don't even get him.

Dylan Roof alone has murdered more people than any Black Lives Matter activists (and fwiw I don't think BLM's approach to activism is very effective at winning hearts and minds but again does not mean they are equivalent to freaking murderers! Is the world getting dumber???)

The KKK and Nazis are a continuation of movement belong long ago, they push the same programs and wish for the same result. Socialist in the name, does not mean socialist in action. In the Night of the Long Knives in 1934, Hitler purposely wiped out the socialist elements of the Party by killing Ernst Rohm and others Nazis advocating socialism. During WWII German government exercised much less control over their economy than the Churchill government did over Britain. Hitler rejected class struggle for race war.

I mean, if you want to take the last say 200 years, the far left wing socialists and communists have actually killed far more than Nazis and KKK (and it isn't even close)...but here I thought we were talking about the hear and now, not what happened nearly 100 years ago.
