Oh, I agree with that, it's just that I can't take anyone seriously when they're saying it's a definite that one side or the other will win since we're in a time where the two parties overall are very even when it comes to support, where it seems victory is something that comes down to which side does better at swinging the undecided votes. It generally gets decided on which guy comes up with the best sound bites, combined with which side's support is more apathetic coming into the election (generally due to how virtually every candidate comes off as a barely-competent attention whore who wants their time in the sun). I'm awake. The country has supposedly been falling apart many times before: during the Revolutionary War, during eh 1850s, during the era of the robber barrons, during the Great Depression, during the 1960's, the 1970's, Clinton's election, etc. Not to mention the time the country actually split apart and civil war resulted with half a million dead.
