Okay, looking at the line-up you guys put out last night, it's obvious you've packed it in and are just trying to give players extended try-outs for roster spots next year. And that's cool.

But, uh, do you think that starting tomorrow, you could maybe put a wholehearted effort into winning six straight? It'd make me really, really happy!

Think during the radiocast last night or monday Marty was talking to one of the beat writers about how this series is the last one to expect seeing all the call ups and they supposedly will be playing as many of the regulars as possible to close out the season against contending teams.

So...CUeto will go for 20 this weekend. I just hope he doestn get hurt!

If they can get production out of Votto and Bruce next year, and a some out of BP there is no reason this team cannot contend. Sure...LF and SS production would be great as well but not every position is gonna be able to do it

Frazier is doing about what I thought he could do and Meso...he is doing what they drafted him to do.
I still dont like him sitting most times when Cueto pitches though.

So the Reds had only 2 hits tonight. And in a lineup with Hamilton, Bruce, Meso, Frazier, and Phillips, both were by none other than JACK MOTHERFUCKING HANNAHAN. Ladies and Gentlemen, your 2014 Cincinnati Reds!

Also, I was there tonight and am having a hard time naming 5 Reds games I enjoyed more than that one. I was rooting against every Reds hitter after the 7th inning because I wanted Hannahan to be the only one keeping it from a no hitter. Kyle Lohse has to wonder how the hell he let Jack Hannahan get the best of him.

I just found out that the Woo guy that irritates me to death in those late inning noise sessions (was there tonight)...grew up 3 miles from me in Coalton Ohio. Just no way.

The Reds won and the Cubs lost. Ending any chance Cincy finishes in last. Most disappointing teams in the NL this year?

1. Cincinnati
2. Atlanta
3. Milwaukee

Everyone else was basically, as expected.

Technically, Milwaukee was picked to finish fourth in the division in a lot of places (Cards tended to be the favorite to win, while Reds and Pirates were flipped between second and third depending on who was doing the picking), so their season is disappointing in the context of how hilariously those stupid fucking dipshits flopped in the final two months. But they did exceed preseason expectations!

Milwaukee, I put there because they were 21 over .500 after 80 games and barely finished .500. All they had to do is go .500 from the All Star break and they had 90 wins, and 90 wins would WIN the Central.

The thing I do not want today is for the Reds to win and Cueto not get his 20th. Pirates win and Cards loss would be good.

Do you think there has ever been a play in MLB like Josh Harrison just made going hard in the hole to glove a grounder, rolling over not once, but twice, and throwing out the hitter at first? I don't think that is a play that you practice, not even Brandon Phillips!

Really haven't watched many games except when Johnny throws. Might as well let him go as far as he wants today.

Nothing like ending a season with Cutch being drilled by a pitch.

WEAK. Not giving him a chance for the CG. The crowd deserves it.

I was thinking the same thing.

But maybe Price sees it as getting Chappy in one more time too?

Isn't Cueto tied for the NL strikeout lead as well? Figured they'd let him stay in to try to get it outright. Either way, looking good for 20 wins now.

Absolutely stupid. A 3-run lead? Cueto had it easily. Makes no sense to take him out.
