Thought about that a year or so ago but in MLB the DH must hit for the pitcher. They dont have to use one...Leake could bat for himself but then there would be no DH inthe game.

Tickets should be 1/2 off in whatever stadium the Reds are playing.

Well, i did not have cable from May 1 - August 30th or so and barely watched all summer but listened to parts/all of pretty much every game. I will still watch even though they are putting out their JV team but not every inning. Just too much to do to invest 3 hours of my life every day to watch a shitty team.

Replay challenge(hop after stealing 3rd with tag still applied) helps Chapman get a 4 out save and Cueto his 17th win! I wonder how many pinch hit HRs Heisey needs to set the MLM career record?

Because Bengals opener?

Reds suck. I'm guessing that is why they aren't on.

But the Reds and Bucks weren't the same time! Looking at my TV schedule for the Reds, printed 3/28/14, it shows today's game being on FSO. Suspect that with the Reds out of it and it being the first Sunday of the NFL, directly competing on time slot with the Bengals away game, they didn't want to get completely crushed in the TV ratings today.

I see the Reds are up to their poor standard of inefficiency in the 4th when they had the bases loaded and no outs. BP hits into a 1,2,3 DP and then Bruce grounds out to get nothing out of it.

Yes, but it was not yet widely known that the Bucks suck!

But then they get a 1-0 lead on 3 singles, all after 2 out, with Latos getting the first one and scoring to give himself the lead. But as often happens after a pitcher runs the bases, he gives up the lead -- now trail 3-1. But all NY runs unearned thanks to a Hamilton error with one out to allow the first base-runner of the inning to reach.

Reds pitchers give up no earned runs in the game and still they lose a one run game, 4-3. Hoover gives up yet another home run, and it was a very rare one, a lead-off HR that was unearned!!!

Another oddity tonight as a Reds pitcher is credited with a strikeout on his first pitch of the game!
