If an NFL MLB or NBA team makes the playoffs you don't think they make more money from that extra game. I would guess the revenue from parking, extra merchandise sold, tickets, and food and beverage sells is a decent amount.

BTW the guy complaining basically did tank a game earlier in the year by not playing an IDP so he could have the extra roster spot for the bye week and not have to cut someone. He lost the game by less then 5 points which an average idp would easily score 90% of the time. That one game the other team won actually changed that team playoff spot by 2 places. I don't see much of a difference in what either guy did. Both guys didn't play a full team because they thought it would benefit them in the long run.

I don't see it as cheating, since there was no rule in place. We had a guy this year that started 0-5, then just basically put all his players on the bench to make sure he lost and got the most balls in next year's draft lottery. It was shitty, and not something I would do, but there was no rule in place to stop it, so I didn't complain about it.

If you're putting losing and cheating in the same sentence, take a step back and think about how ridiculous that is.

I don't think what he did was cheating, but this made me think of a couple of weeks ago when I had this happen:

I was 1st in scoring going into the game, and 6th coming out.
