Just an absolutely terrible job of officiating...that crew should be embarrassed when it reviews the game films.

For all the kudos the Browns defense gets....second game in two weeks that it has let the game slip away:RpS_angry:. Good teams/good defenses find a way to make the big play when the game is on the line. They need to learn how to close out a game.

Wasn't able to watch the damn game, I was so pissed.

Sounds like I missed a great game for the Browns up until the end, where it could be one of the worst losses in a while?

Also, I see a lot of people bitching about the refs on my fbook feed...no shock there. Brady gets all the calls.

Yeah, I don't want to hear ward bitching about the offense turning the ball over. Two weeks in a row that whole unit shit the bed. This one is even worse since they dominated the whole game. Simply have to learn how to close games out.

Yeah I hate to be like I92, but brady and bill should send a bottle of champagne to that crew.

Pick6;1550476 wrote:If the rule for the NFL isn't different than college, it should be the Browns ball. The Pats made contact with the Browns players before the ball went 10 yards. In the NIU-BG game Friday, they called it kick-catch interference.
I can tell you the two rules are different. I did not see the Browns-Pats OSK. The NIU-BG game kick involved the ball striking the ball directly into the ground, the first bound into the ground within 5 yards does not count and all KCI, blocking, touching rules are still in effect.

Thanks. Sounds like the no-call was right then.

Losing sucks and knowing the stripes messed up to assist sucks even more.

I'm pretty much numb to football after the past 18 hours.

I just can't think of a legitimate reason why he would even think about throwing that flag.

If you saw the hit, you'd understand why he was hurt. He got obliterated.

Was it Ward that hit him? He's one of the bigger mashers I've seen this year.

The even worse thing about it was the ref throwing the flag after the play was over like wtf? One if the biggest bullshit calls I've ever seen

Yeah, and he went low and basically took his legs out from under him, except from the side.

Watching it in real time I knew he wasn't going to get up from the hit.

That was a great hit. Unfortunately, we will see more and more of this. I honestly hope it happens to more stars, because fuck the NFL for essentially making defenders go for the knees.

As funny as it would've been for the Browns to beat the Pats, it was still a good day for the Browns. Browns loss, Colts loss, Tampa Bay wins, making the draft a little better for Cleveland today!

This. Guys don't want a penalty so they throw dirty hits into receivers knees. Honestly thought it was a dirty hit, but the NFL rules have caused this.

Are you so used to losing that you want to win the draft every year instead of actual football games? You should give the locker room speech post game "Hey guys, we lost a hard one, but we're one step closer to getting a better rookie than Tampa Bay!"
