I'm assuming you're referring to my comment with this and, if so, your reading comprehension is pretty fucking shitty. What I said was:
"Not comparing their overall skillsets but it sure as hell looks like JFF has "Brady Quinn/Charlie Frye/Colt McCoy Syndrome" when throwing the deep ball, inaccurate/underthrown/wounded ducks. Hopefully he grows out of this but I'm skeptical."
Nowhere did I call him Brady Quinn. I'm high on Manziel, except when he's trying to throw the deep ball. Frankly, Hoyer sucks at throwing the deep ball too. Underthrown ducks have been the theme of training camp.
Unless Manziel gets better at this, he's going to be limited to throws under 30 yards, which is fine....a QB can make a living at that, but he shouldn't be cutting it loose deep because a) his arm apparently isn't strong enough to lead a WR on a deep ball and b) he's going to get his WR's killed. Benjamin got cracked pretty hard coming back for that underthrown deep ball. Fortunately, he drew a penalty.
This conversation has been had before and the deep ball isn't the "end all, be all" but it will help opposing defenses game plan for Manziel and condense the field. Kind of opposite of Derek Anderson where people took away the deep ball and forced him to throw short, defenses will try to take away the short game, like they did with Frye/Quinn/McCoy and try to force JFF to beat them over the top.
