I'm thinking I probably will run the vacumn at some point in time during the next week or two. If I feel up to that sort of labor.

Does that count?

I'm getting ready to stain it with some flood oil based cedar tone. My fence looked just as bad but I power washed and stained it with the same stuff

Looks nice. Mine still looked like shit after the last pressure washing. I think I need to replace the boards.

We just bought this house last summer. Typically I try to stay within a year of the stain warranty. Flood is 2 years on decking and 4 years on railing/fences so I would probably do every 3 years on both. The neighbor behind me told me that the deck hasn't been touched in at least 7 years, so I am pretty damn happy at this point that the wood is in such good shape

Just built the shittiest fire-pit ever, cleaned up and made the dog kennel look a little nicer, cleaned up the garden, drank some beer.

Tore out all the flower beds. More dumbassary found. Multiple layers of moldy mulch on top of a layer of landscape gravel. 3 dump trailer loads later, I'm ready for mulch.

Wife opened up bathroom cabinet and a wrapped bar of soap fell into the toilet as it was being flushed.....so we had a plumber make a home improvement for us.

I got sick of rebuilding the carbs on the 2 cycle string trimmers every spring, so I ordered a Black and Decker 20v Li-Ion for the house. I kinda feel like I lost a bit of my manhood

BTW, Belly, I have my raised vegetable beds planned out for the backyard. I mowed yesterday and got them marked off for size reference. This will give me 44sf of planting space. The bed on the left is 4x6 and the bed on the right is 4x4 with a 2x2 space attached.

I haven't marked the front yard but I will have a 2x4 bed and either a 4x6 or a 4x8 bed so I'll have somewhere between 32-40sf in the front yard.
