You keep making wise-ass remarks about me being unemployed, and I am not. I've mentioned this before, but it must be hard to read with one eye.

Also, back to the topic at hand. Anyone know a good place to buy a dining room table? Nothing fancy.

While he doesn't play, Tebow still makes money.

The other day I fixed our piece of shit table that was falling apart. Later tonight I'm going to hang an old shelf that belonged to my grandparents in my daughter's room for her snowglobe collection.

LJ you need some cove molding around the ceiling area ... Make the room look bigger and adds hieght to the room also, natural finish or a accent color would be nice.. IMO :)

Nice table and chair set ... does it have any additional center leaf

Put in a new furnace and redone the bathroom over the winter. I hope to rewire my garage over the summer. I want to add a couple of 220 outlets so I am not restricted to one area of the garage.

I can take harassment if it's accurate. In your case, you are just wrong.

No he isn't. He's under contract for 2 more years.

You've managed to inject a political statement into a non-political thread (again)

I never applied/interviewed for a job in Chicago. I can only assume you're drunk.

Some of you may remember I had my huge tree taken down this past summer. Well, I want to put a deck in its place, now. I was going to last year, but the quote was much higher than I was expecting. Saving up, and then the deck is going in. Maybe this year. Maybe the year after.

A deck is one of those things that is pretty easy to do yourself. Do it yourself, then make it rain on them bitches with the savings.

Thought about it. My brother & dad are very good w/ that stuff and could help me out. However, with building it over top of where that huge maple tree used to be, we'd be encountering gigantic roots underground whenever drilling holes for our posts. I'd much rather have a professional do it.

You ought to be able to find a contractor or a guy with an auger who you could hire to dig the holes for your posts. Explain your situation with the tree roots and get estimates. If they have the right equipment or can rent it, probably best to have them do it then do the rest of the project yourself.

also... if you put in a block foundation, make sure you seal it correctly on the exterior.
