I don't know why Tebow constantly goes on about religion, right in front of the camera. It's so offensive. I'd rather him talk about all the bitches he's banging, act like a fucking degenerate after every touchdown he scores, then go out an get a DUI after the game. That's what I want out of my athletes.

I HATED Tebow when he was at Florida; much because I hated his gross display of constant religion before, during, and after football games(his fault). i don't like it, the fact that ESPN was all over his nuts, and because he beat my beloved Buckeyes.

With all of that being said...

The kid has won me over. I don't mind his religious beliefs anymore; if anything, I find them quite comical now; all the kid does is WIN; and he seems like he is GENUINELY a good kid with great character. Everyone has been shitting on this kid for years now and still he hangs his head high and goes out there and proves all the naysayers wrong. How can you NOT like the guy?

He always thanks God for "giving him the opportunity", therefore he is thanking God regardless of wins or losses....not on specific plays.

Thanking God for the "win" is 100% different than saying God is the reason you won. That is why your statement about "what about the religious players on the steelers" holds no water at all.

Your 2nd statement is just your opinion, and not the opinion of everyone, maybe not even the opinion of a majority.

I don't normally agree with skyhook, but he is right. If you watched the game the camera guys basically could have cared less about the WR who scored the TD, they were chasing Tebow down the field JUST to see him praying.

Don't blame Tebow for that, he wasn't telling the cameras to follow him.

I like Tebow. He is far from my favorite athlete, but I have absolutely no problem with him. He seems like a good guy and a great teammate. I don't think he pushes his religious beliefs on anyone. If you do not want to listen to him all you have to do is turn the channel. Him praying after a touchdown or on the sidelines is not him shoving his religion down your throat anymore than someone celebrating is them shoving their dance moves down it. Either way, no one is telling you what to do or what to believe.

I also don't think it's fair for people to criticize him over his media coverage. He does not decide that. If he were to avoid interviews, questions, etc. people would be giving him shit for it. He really can't win either way.
