Go check out the forums for any NBA team around the deadline. They are FLOODED trade rumors, why do you have such a problem with this?

Back track? I never back tracked on anything. You said there were no rumors about the Cavs looking at CP3. The fact is, the Cavs did offer a deal for CP3. I said whether the deal would realistically happen or not, it was worth discussing.

You feel that fans shouldn't discuss ANYTHING about their team, apparently.

Why would we discuss Durant to Cleveland? No team has INQUIRED about that deal. [inquire - to seek information by questioning; ask: to inquire about a person.]

I mean honestly, you are on here acting like people can't discuss something unless it's set in stone?

You've certainly cared enough to reply to me. And I'll await where it's a fact that the Cavs made an offer for Paul. If you can't prove it, you lose credibility. I dont know what the details of the conversation were but this is something I took from a Windy article:

Q: Hey, Brian: I saw rumors a week ago that the Cavs attempted to trade with New Orleans for Chris Paul. Do you know the offer details? Was New Orleans simply not giving him up for anything the Cavs could throw at them? --Kyle, Columbus

A: Hey, Kyle: Paul is not available and the Hornets have said it over and over. Teams, including the Cavs, called to see

Now, I'm going to assume that the Cavs didnt just say "hey, is the guys available"? I'm sure they had some sort of proposal when they called to check on his availability.

You also keep replying to me, so that was a pointless rebuttal. And honestly, who do you have credibility with? Every thread it seems like you're arguing with somebody. I never really pay you any mind because I don't care. But it does get tiring to see you on Cavs threads continually thread shitting like you've done here.

But as far as my "credibility" on an internet message board, well, if I cared about that then my life has failed me... So if that's what you need to keep on going, then by all means, be as credible as possible on the OC.... lol

As far as the CP3 rumor, I don't need to provide anything. Everybody on here knows that the Cavs were looking at CP3. That's what we discussed.

I don't remember anybody saying it was going to actually happen or that CP3 would be our opening day PG.

Again, for the last time, if you DON'T like what we discuss, make your own thread and discuss what you'd like to discuss on that one.

Last week the Hornets fired their general manager in part, some believe, because he was just kicking the tires on Paul's value. As it stands now, the only way Paul is getting out of there is by demanding a trade.


You can take that for what its worth but like I just said. I highly doubt that the Cavs would go calling unless they had some sort of proposal on the table. The Hornets said no thanks but it seems as though the Cavs reached out to the Hornets.

Wait, so you don't think the Cavs called and said "Hey, this is what we got, what do you think?".. Or "Hey, this is what we can offer for CP3, is he available?"...

Because I do remember something about Mo/Andy/JJ/draft pick for Emeka/CP3 floating around.. Again though, that's the fun part about the trade deadline is discussing "what ifs" and rumors...
