what happens if the line ups are submitted before the ruling happens. Some people may not make the weight without the extra pounds.

If it was ruled to be extra weight for this tournament would it apply to the other tournaments around ohio with the same circumstances because I know hilliard bradley did not practice yesterday or today and they have a match at plus 4 tomorrow so can they be expected to make plus 2 on saturday at darby duels with only 2 non consecutive days of practice

Well after an E-mail and phone call no response from OHSAA but because Bexley has a TRi Thursday and Friday the weights will be scratch plus 4. So 103 becomes 107 etc.

Just heard from Hank Zaborniak that the 1lb rule only counts for the day before a meet. So thank Bexley for your pounds. We were unable to get another team this late so we will go with 15 teams. Unioto was down to three wrestlers so it won't make that much of a difference.

Thanks....so just to clarify.....if a team misses school and is unable to practice on a Wednesday & Thursday, but IS able to practice on Friday, then there would be NO weight allowance for a Saturday event?

Thats what he said Dad. So you can thank the Bexley pounds and we have had some movement in weights already. Seeds will not be done until late Friday because we still have a team not have their roster in.

depending on number of wrestlers e will have four pools (more than 10), two pools( ten or less) or round robin (6 or less). Right now we do not have any weight class with less than 7 and from looks of records will have some real good wrestling.
