I agree, and so do the R's who also support insane spending increases in their state and districts.

ptown - I appreciate your reasonable approach on this thread. Too bad it will fall on deaf ears.
You are correct. Both sides are to blame. Republicans and Democrats are two heads on the same monster. "Divide and conquer" is the name of the game, and both sides are playing it for all it's worth.
I happen to agree with both of you that is a "D" and an "R" problem as a matter of fact I found a wonderful website that REALLY points this out.

Every American should see this, check it out when you have the time.
If there were a way to do it I would do away with the party system in a heart beat. As well as lobbyists and special interests.
But not to totally rail on the Dems, but honestly you two. We have NEVER IN OUR HISTORY seen spending like this!
The $100 Million Health Care Vote? thats what Democrat Mary Landrieu got for her vote for health care.

This is wrong people! I do not care how you slice it, this is plain WRONG. Sure Louisianan needs the money, but to ONLY get the funds they need if the senator votes a certain way on healthcare bill is WRONG! Did her constituents in Louisianan really get fair representation? I think NOT!
