Great win for the Buckeyes. I know some have anointed UM the Team of the Century even though they’ve only played a typical UM schedule that shows you nothing. But I think the Buckeyes are trending in the right direction at the right time.

It’s 12 noon on Sunday, October 22, 2023 and Michigan still sucks.

After the last few years at MSU, Hitler on the Jumbotron feels about right

The sign stealing and 1-6 bowl record make sense. They didn’t know who they would play do they couldn’t steal siggnals

They played UGA and Bama in '21 and '20. Not sure that they were expected to beat either of them.

And last year I am pretty sure it was just a debacle from the start. Had the ball inside TCU 5 on first drive and didn't get any points. Then Michigan forces 3 and out and gets ball back but throw a pick 6. TCU went up 21-3.

Michigan then again had a touchdown completion reversed and marked inside the 1yd line and proceeded to fumble the next snap.

From there Michigan settled in and got in a shootout and outscored TCU 42-30. Still believe if Michigan just gets any points on that first drive it's a different ball game. IMO UofM easily left 10-14 points on the board.

Nonetheless, this sign stealing controversary makes for a good follow.

Seems like a slap on the wrist. Are they going to announce what they actually found?

I don’t actually think it’s a big deal, but Tressel went down for much less and it still pisses me off.

Tressel's case was a complete joke.  The only silver lining I took from it is that he got to move into some other endeavors he may not have tried had he remained in coaching.  But you cannot say with a straight face today " Well our coach is out and got nailed by the NCAA because he didn't want to get a couple of players into trouble for trading their warm up jackets for a free tattoo.  He saw what happened to one kid (Clarett) when his life got off the rails, so he was protective."  I mean that is so absurd in this day-in-age that a man lost his reputation for that.

Meanwhile Coach "We Do it the Right Way" Harbaugh seems to employ a staff of idiots who are either unsupervised or directed to cheat in quite possibly the stupidest way ever.

I do enjoy the school with the most overinflated opinion of itself is getting called out for the most dimwitted infraction I can recall.

Michigan sucks.

Predictable is predictable. Was at a friend's on Tuesday and he asked what was going on and I told him that I figured that nothing would happen to the team, but Harbaugh himself would be suspended and then probably just run to the NFL next year because of how it's super-obvious his style of doing things and the NCAA's rules aren't compatible. And, well, looks like nothing happened to the team and Harbaugh was suspended, with the NFL pending.

So, the only part that even comes close to surprising me is how it's only a game-day "no sidelines" suspension instead of a "not with the program" one.

As for the Tressel part, one thing that's cracked me up about some of the big-time Michigan guys online or on TV (Barstool's Portnoy, Desmond Howard) is that they're all about due process and letting things play out now, while with Tressel, they were all about "rules were broke, justice must be done!!!". Because obviously, it's far more horrible for players to sell the stuff they were given as sanctioned rewards for winning games to get $$$ than it is to gain a competitive advantage via ignoring rules, regardless of those rules seeming kind of dumb.

Trending that way, assuming Penn can get a TD.

I think they have two really good backs, but Aller just hasn't been it as QB against legit competition and Franklin is virtually incapable of winning a big game. Put that against a team with overall better talent and that is playing that "us against everyone" card and you have a recipe for disaster. Might have had a better chance if the game was prime time and the locals could all be totally lit up and psycho-obnoxious, but sadly, that was not the case.

And right after I type this, Aller makes a few good plays and gets a TD. And they didn't get the two-point try, so they have 9, meaning that for them to hit your 10-point prediction, Ironman, they'll need to get one of those defensive one-point PATs that were being talked about here a couple weeks ago.

Does any fan base have even a fraction of the number of douchebags as Michigan’s does?  There’s like an equal number of fat nerds and guys who look like they probably belong in prison.

I was thinking the same thing. Year after year, have a good team except QB, and consistently lose to OSU and Michigan. They’re perpetual pretenders.

Gruesome arm injury by Miami QB…awful

Dude laid it 100% body sacrifice to get a crazy 1st down, he is done and was hard to watch.

That said ABC had ZERO angle on the play and very much looked like he didn’t make it on 4th down…and then maybe fumbled out of bounds backwards. Not acceptable in this big of a game to not have the needed look.

Lol why is this guy crying like Harbaugh died.

He cries (typical Michigan) like a guy who just survived the Battle of the Bulge as opposed to subbing for his coach after his program cheated.

Very characteristic Michigan melodramatic douchiness.
