Might have been more concerned with the linebacker who quit on the team because he lost his starting role with Greenlaw coming back. Even by pro athlete diva standards, refusing to enter a game because sandy vagina is strange. From post-game comments, at least Kittle was disgusted.

Craziest thing. Great teammate.

Greenlaw with the horrible unfortunate tearing of his Achilles while running on the the field at the Super Bowl….he works his way back 11 months later and his teammate is disgusted by it.

Screw that guy

Not that the Niners did this but Pat Kirwan (Sirius XM Movin' the Chains/former NFL GM) said if the was running SF there's no way he cuts this clown. He let's him serve out whatever suspension the players union allows, lets him stand in street clothes the rest of the season after the suspension, continues to keep him on the roster next year, then releases him after free agency when most of the teams have signed their guys and he has to play for pennies.

Kirwan said that cutting him now is giving a petulant child his way and basically rewarding him to possibly sign with a playoff/SB contender.

I 100% agree with Kirwan.

I’ve always felt this way….let him rot

Will another team sign him though? I have no idea how good he is. I’m sure it’s one of those things where talent trumps trouble. But he quit on the team. Kittle and Ward lit him up after the game. Is a new locker room going to accommodate him?

Well crap.

1:00 games for me are Ravens/Giants….bleh or Bengals/Titans

Not good choices but whatever

4:00 choices are Steelers/Eagles or Bills/Lions….the two games I’d choose over any other games this week.

Guess I’ll watch the Steelers go 3 and out after receiving ball first then Eagles have a possession that takes 8:00 minutes and has 2 tush pushes resulting in a TD and just turn it over and watch Bills/Lions…a game I don’t care who wins

If the bengals lose this game just go ahead and leave the coaching staff in Tennessee.

Thankfully I was awakened at 6am this morning by a crashing sound in my family room. I rushed downstairs to find that one of the kittens knocked our TV flat on the floor. TV didn't break but ripped the Roku cord in half so I have a built in excuse not to watch the Browns shit show.

KC bizarrely considers going for 4th and 1 from the CLE 12.  Wisely ends-up kicking the FG to go up 17-0 (because why even toy with NOT taking a 3 score lead when you are trying to get the #1 seed).

And the kicker misses it.  Crazy stuff.

Everyone: cool the panthers are favored for the first time in two years. They’ve turned it around lately

Panthers: lose by 16 at home to Cooper Rush

Wouldn’t be the end of the season without Mahomes spraining his ankle but probably coming out of it fine

Wish I could stop seeing playoff picture graphics with 5-9 teams like the Saints still “in the hunt.”

It’s one of the NFL’s and TV’s favorite things

About the only way that's going to happen would be for the NFL to either go to two divisions per conference like the NBA/NHL or simply abolish divisions as far as having any determination on playoffs. Eight divisions of four teams makes it a sure thing that at least one of them is going to totally suck where the winner is around .500 and at least one of the rest will be "in the hunt" because they might be 4 games out of the wild card, but they're only 2 in back of the division leader.

And I'm pretty sure the NFL does things that way solely because that's the best way to keep some sort of enthusiasm up in some of those cities. The longer it takes to eliminate those "bad; not horrible" teams, the better for marketing. I mean, with Monday Night Game #2 tonight, it does sound better to say "If 6-7 Atlanta can get a road win, they are right there in it to win their division and reach the postseason!" than it does to say "It's a mediocre team playing at a shitty team. Watch it, I guess, if you have nothing else to do..."

Cousins looks washed

While the game sucked, I was kind of amazed that the one guy on the Monday Night B-team (Dan Orlovsky, I think) pretty much was non-stop talking about how Cousins needs to be a lot better for Atlanta to have any chance of doing anything. Just so weird to have all these "everything and everyone is great!!!" partners of the league most of the time (unless Al Michaels isn't in the mood to tolerate refs throwing constant flags) and then this one guy is basically like, "This dude is SUCKING ASS!!!" and completely focusing on how he's playing and how he needs to be doing a lot more.

Orlovsky is good about that. He's not a bull shitter and will tell it like it is. Wasn't a good QB but is a pretty solid analyst.

No reference to you but I find it wild that a few weeks ago the Lions were arguably the best team in football but now, after last night, with the Vikes win coupled with the decimating injuries, they could be a road playoff team if Minny wins out.

Penix named the starter the rest of the season

Wow. 3 games left and 1 game back

Doesn’t feel like the right move at all but I’m not seeing it all….but man you’d think you’d trust the veteran with this amount of the season left 🤷🏻‍♂️
