My second word was ANGER and I was feeling good about a 4, maybe a 3.

CAPER, PAYER, PAVER, PAPER

You were pretty much screwed if you didn't have that middle R, because it's a rare word and who's guessing another R with all the other choices left?

Not sure if they are on the official list, but wordle also would have accepted PAWER and PALER.  So basically I had a 50% chance with 3 guesses on 6 possibilities.

Yeah, I’ve played a lot of practice Quordle and Octordle from about April-June….played a ton and they both seemed to have a good amount of “corer and purer type words but also threw in queue, myrrh, and words that start with re that you never think of…..all were often killers.
