There was some business-related topic that somehow evolved into his wanting to e-mail me his tax returns, presumably to show how successful he was.

I also feel obligated to make a "I wouldn't say I'm missing them" joke.

Justin do you have any of the old threads saved? I don’t even remember when but there use to be a hall of fame section years ago, and one of the threads was when footwedge argued relentlessly that the Browns could still make the playoffs even though they were mathematically eliminated.

I have the data but currently no way of displaying them. I've always wanted to write some code that would interface with the old data structure and and a read-only archive section but I'm lazy af.

His rant about Australia when Adam Scott won a major is so underrated in OC history. 

I think Boatshoes was the guy who always tried to argue economics with me, and routinely posted charts he didn't understand that actually refuted his points.

Too bad he left before the Bitcoin craze - we've missed out on multiple theses on the absolute superiority of buying treasuries.

We also missed out on what I imagine would have been an epic ManhattanBuckeye meltdown over the Game of Thrones finale. 

That's assuming he hadn't already quit watching because the child actors became too old.

1_beast and I are Facebook friends (along with 4Ringz). We all live in the same county.

Gosharuddies.

That guy was awful.  Starting each sentence with "gosh", etc.  He believed it to be his calling card and I think somewhere inside, he believed it was funny.  But I am almost 100% certain that no one found it funny and it never even garnered a smirk.
