Men with daughters playing sports it was huge.

It was also big for women who actually played women's sports.

My 42 year old lesbian sister, the demographic you would 100% assume would always vote democratic...refuses to vote for ANYONE who is "ok" with biological men playing with women in sports.

She was a 3 sport athlete in HS, very good (all district level) at 2 of them.

Are we brothers?

In essence, the left fucked up on this issue by letting the super-progs dictate its terms. And with that group, there's no cause too small that it can't be treated like the most important thing on Earth that everyone needs to get behind or they're bad, bad people. While they self-sabotage their efforts every step of the way with their "If you aren't cool with everything, FUCK YOU!!!!!!" attitudes. AKA: The same sort of thing we're getting now with certain Ds or D-leaning TV mouthpieces playing the "we only lost because this/these demographic(s) are TOO STUPID to do what they should have!!!" card.

I mean, just the concept that a group that's as small and insignificant in the grand scheme of things as trans people was so prevalent in election ads and a focus point of the campaigns of Trump and other prominent R candidates is insane. But the left just sort of skipped the "tolerate" and "accept" stages and went right to "celebrate" and did so in ways a lot of people didn't like, such as the "born male, competes with females" stuff and the Rs kept up their proven track record in amplifying and exaggerating things, setting up a situation where a lot of people probably were swayed towards the right by that issue -- at least far more than would be swayed left by it.

Seems like this wouldn't have been much of an actual issue if trans advocates were more like, "Trans people are people, too; live and let live; be cool" and left it at that. But that doesn't make the over-the-top advocates feel like they're doing their job, so that didn't happen, we got a world where a certain portion of the population feels you committed a hate crime if you "deadname" the wrong person and that just didn't resonate all that well.

This isn’t necessarily trans, but I’m tired of trying to watch shit with my kid and seeing gay fuck stuff. We only watch hgtv and foodnetwork, and it’s just filled of gays.

Well, they generally have a better sense of style than us straights. And in all reality, I have an older gay male cousin that I will sometimes send a pic of shoes to (I have a shoe thing) in order to get his opinion on them before I buy them. Usually for the more expensive sandals/heels. He just KNOWS.

And reps to Heretic!

I will add to his very thorough insight just one more thing:

The nut bags just couldn't leave kids out of it. And that is the bridge that people will burn instead of crossing.

Can we agree that across all sports high school and college that we are talking about 5-10 cases total?

Dear Dipshit,

It should be ZERO cases. One is not to be dismissed. And even with your attitude about it, there is more than 10 cases.

I don't know if this is your idea of some sort of persuasive tactic or if you've really convinced yourself that you are being a voice of reason.

I saw your other response, can we agree that it should be 0 cases? You also only know the ones that made the news. No woman should have to see a dummies dick in their locker room bc of equality. It’s simple. And no offense, you don’t have daughters so your opinion is pretty much useless

I agree it’s insanely overblown. It shouldn’t happen at all but that number to me is not even on the radar.

Two different arguments.. I actually agree that I feel bad for people in that Position they should be excluded.. I would like to play for the Lakers but yea sometimes that sucks..but also why are we even talking about something that comes up once every 2-3 years as if it is important . Can we agree on that ?

As of right now there are more than ten lawsuits happening across various states that include, but not limited to: Connecticut, Montana, California, West Virginia, Virginia, and so on. I know this because I had test on it among other things for my job.

There are also many school districts that have had lawsuits against them thrown out of court because the plaintiff's "had no standing". These courts came to this decision because "it's a violation of Title IX to discriminate against transgender students". Effectively saying that biological males must be allowed to participate in girl sports.

And we have geeblock over here, who doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground, saying stupid shit like "it's only 5-10 cases!!!!!!".

Just for once, geeblock,  I'd really love to see you actually know a little bit about something before you make a claim of fact.

But no, it's dipshits like you who don't give a damn if there are biological males playing against biological girls. Has it ever occured to you that sometimes there are serious injuries that happen to these girls? Have you ever heard of Payton McNabb? Had a biological male spike a ball into her face so hard that she had permanent nerve damage along with permanent paralysis on parts of her body?

And then you come into this thread complaining "why are we even talking about this". Because you, dipshit, clicked on the thread. Nobody forced your dumbass to post absolute falsehoods because your too lazy to even do a simple google search before you posted your ridiculous, simple and ignorant statements of numbers you pulled out of your ass.

Over how many years are these ten lawsuits?  Like I said it comes up rarely.

I said I don’t think males should play against women but stop as if it’s not extremely rare

You can find some I’m sure but it’s not common. But if it’s a big issue for you god bless. No reason to name call. No matter how u want to frame it it is EXTREMELY RARE.. and good if there is a lawsuit. The govt surely doesn’t need to be involved. I’m sure local leagues, districts, states can make their own rules

I am not sure of the total amount, which would have to include those cases thrown out to protect trans students. I've been working on updating my certification and part of the medical law & liability section requires me to know what is required to file and why the filing might be dismissed.

*Edit to add

My learning packet had 31 separate instances. Now, back to regularly scheduled programming.

This is not my choice to have to learn all of these things as my job is more directly related to other social maladies, but my employer has designated that our dept take these courses to keep our job and/or advance.

As an aside, I also have to learn how to properly dispose of bios, even though I don't do sticks or handle body waste. This includes how to clean up things like a chemo spill. It's just part of the nature of working in a hospital ED.

And just to clarify, I'm not a doctor, lawyer or expert on trans issues. Just to be clear about that. But I do stress that I have to learn a lot about trans issues (DEI is a rather large and common institution in hospitals now) among many other things to protect not only myself but the interests of my employer.

35+ in the NCAA this year alone.

At least 3 in this years Olympics

The survey estimates for high schools (they are under 18, so medical information is restricted, only self responding surveys) puts the number at about 100 per years

So from HS to adults that’s about 140 per year right now just in the US/Olynpics.

You sure it’s “5-10”? God you are a moron sometimes
