Just saw Cody Allen has been “demoted” from closer role. Angels going closer by committee for time being.

Just took a look back to an article posted 4 days ago about Allen’s stats so far:

*Cody Allen, Angels: 0-1, 2.45, 4-for-4 in saves, 7 1/3 innings

currently: 

8.1 innings, still 4 saves, 5.40 era.

8.1 innings, 6 hits, 5 runs, still 4 saves, 5.40 era.

Ha ha! Yeah that didn’t translate well. The hits and runs weren’t all in one inning......but almost. 

I edited my post you quoted for better clarification.

I know. He had like 4 bad outings in a row. 2 he didn’t even record an out.
