Fucking Narduzzi up 10 in a huge upset and with ball and 7 min left they are throwing consecutive incompletions on terrible plays
3 runs takes in down to 5 minutes but they give it right back for the miracle Louisville W

Can’t believe this same Notre Dame team got so dominated by Louisville. They looked pretty solid tonight.

And then Louisville gets stomped by ... Pitt? Happy for I92 and his son, but damn.

Being home in college can be worth about 30 more points than being on the road….all of the surprise blowout wins were at home

Give him a “share” like the Packers do. It can’t be sold or cashed in, but you’re officially an owner.

If I'm in a position where the Giants might be taking me as a QB, I'd be making crazy demands, too, since odds are he'll need to fall back on that ownership after their OL kills his career in 2.5 weeks.

his o-line at USC is not good either but there's no denying his style of play works in college. it absolutely won't work in the NFL.
USC basically feasts on one of two plays:
1. caleb williams line breaks down and he scrambles around the pocket. secondary eases up while he's scrambling and it ultimately turns into a WR being wide ass open.
2. caleb williams line breaks down and he scrambles around the pocket. a lane opens up and he rushes for an easy 15 yards.
that's pretty much it.
however, he has some critical flaws:
1. he holds onto the ball too long. sometimes it works and he makes plays, but he's just as likely to throw a careless pass when he gets impatient or simply run himself into the boundary and take a loss.
2. his throwing mechanics are terrible. he rarely sets to throw. it makes him a very pedestrian passer if he has to make a decent, contested throw.
3. he seems to get regularly bent out of shape at his teammates.
someone posted a thread on reddit earlier and it has some interesting stats regarding his performance against "good" defenses. i wasn't surprised at the numbers.

Erick All and Cade McNamara both out for year with torn ACLs....

Yes that's the vibe I get from him too. Incredible athlete, below average QB skills. His style of play will get him killed in the NFL. I'm surprised he hasn't gotten hurt at USC yet

Oh no I hope their offense doesn’t start to stutter.

I just don't understand the disdain they have for UofM.
McNamara, I can grasp a bit. But I think anyone that knows anything knew JJ McCarthy was going to take over.
All's situation is just weird. Obviously some behind the scenes stuff there.

I just busted out laughing at the office. Thanks
Taking a knee at half with all time outs is pussy shit

I think he doesn’t want to shoot McCord’s confidence. The guy’s psyche is probably a bit fragile.
The sign stealing and 1-6 bowl record make sense. They didn’t know who they would play do they couldn’t steal siggnals
Ok….meaningless game Pitt at Wake Forest
Pitt intercepts the ball with 1:13 remaining and WF 3 timeouts. Pitt is up 17-14, on play Pitt defensive player pulls a guy off the pile, 15 yard (half the distance) AND same player committed a personal foul (another 1/2 the distance and he’s ejected. Ball is placed on the 6.
Pitt run (WF timeout) 1:00
Pitt run (but holding call declined) clock stop at 55
Pitt QB keeper and running in the clear with no one close…..starts his slide a tad early and refs called it even farther back and left him short of 1st (2nd TO WF)
Pitt punts 30 yards….WF of course scores with 7 seconds left to win as starting safety was dumb and ejected.
If QB simply runs 1 more step OR dives forward or simply runs OB…..game is over with only 1 TO and 45 seconds ds left with a first down.
Or if no holding call or if no ridiculous double personal foul after game sealing INT
Of course WF was balls all day on offense and scored at will the last 3 possessions. God forbid with 18 seconds left they not give up a 25 yard play to a terrible offensive team.
As irritated as I’ve been in a long time watching the end of the game. 0 shot at a bowl game with the remaining schedule
Good win for OSU.
