Not giving up my first word since I use it every day but here's how I got to leery. I was having trouble finding a word that didn't have a second E, and with S eliminated I figured it ended in Y. I did not expect to get it with leery but knew it was right after the L flipped.

Hard mode. If you get a letter in the right spot, all subsequent guesses must include that letter in that spot.
So if you guess HOUSE first, and the H is correct, you cannot then guess PLANT to eliminate 5 more letters. You have to start the next guess with H.
