What did you want to be when you grew up?

Pro football player; I once scored 4 touchdowns in a single game. Then I got a girl pregnant, didn't get to go college, and ended up selling shoes to fat women. It is horrible on days like today with a heat index of 100 trying to squeeze shoes on to the big girls.

First - Cowboy

Then - Major League Baseball player

Later - interpreter for a major corporation (German)

I wanted to work with numbers in a office in my house, preferred architect, tried actuary, didn't like calculus that much, so settled for a business degree, do get to work with number from home.

As a young kid, I wanted to be an artist (painter/sketch artist). Don't know how my mom kept a straight face when encouraging that.

Then after a few years of elementary school baseball, I decided I would play for the Indians. 

From middle school through freshman or sophomore year I wanted to be a high school math teacher and coach.

As a kid I wanted to be a Meteorologist, specifically a Tornado Chaser. In high school I thought about majoring in Music. But circumstances changed that. Plus with Music I'd end up as pro musician or band director and wanted neither of both. 

Thought about meteorological when I joined the Air Force, but decieded against it as I was afraid I'd end up in Alaska measuring trade winds, away from my Wife and Daughter. Took the safe route with Aircraft Maintenance...ended up with a Remote assignment in South Korea away from my family. The Air Force was another dream of mine since my Dad served in it.

And Justin I was a fire fighter for a few years. (Jolly Volly) Just like my Dad was.
