No idea where to post this, but hilarious. Some guy in our neighborhood joined our fantasy team this year (not poor, middle class, 5 kids)…. He just got arrested for ROBBING A BANK with a fake bomb on Friday. Lol wtf! You could rob anything else but a bank 🤦🏾‍♂️. Crazy shit.

So, do the rest of you get to draft his players now? Or is it just a free-for-all in free agency? Have to admit, I've never been in a league where one player has to exit due to criminal charges partway through the season.

I was in a league where a guy died from a heart attack in the middle of the season. We just locked his roster and donated all prize money to his widow.

A guy committed suicide in one of my leagues this year. For a while I thought it was OD but recently found out it was a suicide. He was addicted to drugs and was stealing from his family business and going to the casino apparently.

He’s in 3rd too lol. I’m not making playoffs but I hope they fill his roster to fuck everyone else

That's crazy.  Sounds like a very sad and desperate story - with those kids in the picture.

It's weird because in the movies every time someone hands a note to the teller saying they have a bomb, they just give him the money....

That's a good idea for a death in the league. But for a "go to jail" crime, I'd be saying we should donate all the money to having a "We're not in jail like you are. Dumbass." party after the season. And possibly try to hook up with his wife/girlfriend if he has one and she's attractive. Just to send a message that crime doesn't pay, of course. Nothing personal.

I’m my league I made the suggestion that we should donate all proceeds to the family, but some guys in the league didn’t know him and it’s a $400 league so it got vetoed. Plus he hadn’t paid. So the commissioner is putting his lin ups in and covering his fee

Surprised Quaker hasn't been all over this one. It's about as on point as most of his stuff!

Apparently liking to have a good time engaging in fun activities with your co-workers isn't allowed if you're a cop. SAD!
