Ok, finally been making some progress on this.

Things I've recently added that were preventing a launch:
Polls
Private Messages
Search (in the footer now)
Editing posts (you can now edit the OP)
Kick the tires and let me know if something breaks. I don't think there should be anything that would prevent this from being the new site going forward. There are a few nice to have things I want to add, and the Archive (link in footer) is definitely a work in progress, but after fixing a few speed issues today I'm pretty happy with where it is.

Another thing that I think I fixed was that when you edit a post in a thread, it will bump that thread to the top. I don't think it does that anymore.

It's very serify. I wanted something a little fancier than the current one, and I actually quite like it.
If you were picking a font, which would you go with?

This isn't quite true. If you edit the OP it still bumps it to the top, but if you edit a random post in the thread it does not. It also bumps it if you lock the thread. Better than it was, at least.

i installed a browser plugin and ripped through a bunch of fonts until i found two:
if serify, crimson text:
overall, i'd just go something simpler like source sans pro:
or comic sans
I kinda like Inter.

You can only edit the OP of a thread you started. Also, I can edit all OPs.
Is making it possible to multi-quote a post difficult to code? I often think it would be easier to be able to do this, like we used to be able to do. Especially now that Isadore isn't here
It's something I can look into adding, I don't think it would be too terribly difficult now.
lol, actually I just realized you cannot quote posts at all yet on the new version. Oops. I'll work on that tomorrow.
