Tested and verified the same behavior. Will fix.
In Chrome I can pretty reliably cause the chatter to freeze:
1. Enter thread
2. Type stuff into post box.
3. Delete previously typed stuff.
4. Try and quote someone. The window will freeze.

I don't know if it helps, but I couldn't reproduce it in edge.

Hmm, that's weird. I would've assumed it existed in all browsers.
I just tested in Safari and Firefox on Mac and I'm getting the same issue. I see what's happening, I'm just not sure why it's happening yet.
I'm seeing something similar after installing Firefox on my phone.
If I reply to virtually any thread, when I hit "post reply" the page hangs. Often times it will post incomplete posts/stale information.
I had to edit a post two or three times the other day because there was a random typo at the end of a sentence but the corrections wouldn't "take".
Is there a save-your-draft-as-you-type feature? I have a hunch it is broken on Firefox mobile
I noticed an issue with quoting right before I went on vacation. Now that I'm back I'll take a look at it when I get some time in the evenings.
Still very much broken. .
Is your issue when you attempt to reply after quoting someone, or just a normal reply? And is it just with Firefox for mobile?
Quoting isn't necessary. In my previous post it hung. Let's see if this one does too...
Jsjdhahdhwhsjejdwk. Sjshashs.
The first post worked fine. The second one hung on me. Still using firefox

Wow. That browser is shit.
Have you heard of or tried out Brave? It was made by an ex-Mozilla guy, built for privacy. I use it a lot on my phone and it has been great.
I'll give it a whirl.
Edit: looks like a rebadged chrome. Even the menu layout is similar. This will do for now

It is Chromium based.
