I agree with Devil, Duron is getting his head straight and will be back on the field. Talked to him at the court yesterday and he is working pretty hard.

Not to discredit you, but I never understood statements like this. How do you know he's working hard? I'm sure that's the same line he was feeding the OSU coaches last year. No one really knows if he's getting his stuff together until it's proven.

I'm not trying to start anything. But you always try to hate on people's statements dynasty. I hoop with Duron quite a bit since the season has ended. His dad was pretty upset as anyone would know so he knows he has to get his act together.

I'm not saying he isn't getting his act together. But everyone knows it's pretty hard to fail all your classes as a freshman. I'm just saying I'll believe it when I see it.

Of course he's.going to say he's working hard though. What else is he going to say.

BTW, vball has serious problems. Where does he think people are going to go? We're not all in a room together. It's a forum.

I wouldn't be so sure about Carter getting his head on right.

He should, he got a decent amount for a True Frosh this year.

Klein will get his PT on special teams once again but he'll be battling a deep LB core for playing time defensively.

lol well played

Really doesn't surprise me about Carter anymore. I've heard from my own very reliable source (player on the team) that Carter 'doesn't get it.' Football and school are not at the top of his priority list and he's had a questionable attitude since he's arrived at OSU.

Ohrian Johnson is going to explode. He's one of the most athletic guys on the team and he's starting to pick up the defensive scheme well. Luke Fickell was on 97.1 the other day and you can tell he was tickled to death when he brought up Ohrian Johnson's name as a guy who he expects to emerge and surprise a lot of people this season.

I now understand where Carter gets his cockiness from. His dad was at the court tonight with him. Yeah, Cris Carter. He seems like the nicest guy in the world on ESPN and tv, but he was the most arrogant athlete I have ever seen while at OSU. If Duron is anything like him then everyone on here is right about him and he will be a bust. Its like his dad encourages cocky behavior. Contrary to what anyone would think.

A couple things, why is Chris Carter in Columbus and more importantly, why are they hanging out at the courts?

Spring practice started today, whether he's prqcticing or not he shouldn't be hanging out at the courts.

I agree. I didn't understand why they were there. But they were. I don't have a problem with him hoopin, but Cris shouldn't be encouraging the attitude and behavior considering all the trouble he has been in. Makes me wonder if Carter is just on the team because Tressel doesn't want to anger the Carter family.

Carter is a scholarship athlete and his team is in practice. He should not be playing basketball and if he is, I'm thinking he might not be at OSU next year due to either flunking out or even a transfer.

Odd timing for his dad to be in town.

Exactly what I'm thinking. I don't think he will transfer. His dad is working on ways to get him PT I'm pretty sure. Why else would he be here?

agree with you on this point...but, iyo, why is it an odd time for papa Cris to be in town?

I guess under normal circumstances it wouldn't be an odd time for him to be in town, but with him being out of spring ball and all, it makes one wonder.

You feel like an ass now for attacking me earlier?

I said this last season when I saw him receive some PT against Toledo. The kid is going to be a freak at safety.

Eh, if Carter isn't on the team he isn't on the team. We won the biggest game without him, I am sure the other guys will gladly step up.

Ohrian just looks like a safety, I think he'll pair up nicely with Hines in the secondary.
