Fish82,
Who said that you could venture out of the politics forum? You are a worthy adversary, though, so I will engage...

I might agree with you if Inkster was the only common opponent we had with Iggy. We both also played Massillon. In fact, we played them in back-to-back weeks. Go ask Massillon people who the better team was.
The Tigers really should have beaten Ignatius. There was an erroneous pass interference called on Massillon on the last play of the game, I believe, that kept Iggy alive and they kicked a FG (I think) to win it on the last play. I could be wrong with that sequence, because I merely heard about it and didn't see it, but it was something close to that.
The Big Red-Massillon game was not as close as the score. We physically dominated the Tigers and the outcome was never really in doubt. Every Massillon person that I talked to after that game said that we would have beaten Ignatius.
NOW... That doesn't mean that it is necessarily true. Sometimes, you just never know how a matchup is going to play out. Yes... Iggy smacked around Inkster and they beat us, but the Big Red team post-Massillon and pre-Massillon were two completely different animals. Unfortunately, we peaked too early in the season.
The Big Red team that stomped Woodland Hills and Massillon could have competed with and possibly beaten any team out there... I stand by that. We proved ourselves against some pretty stiff competition.
Also, Woodland Hills may have not gotten the preseason hype last year that some others did, but the teams that they beat WERE considered elite, both regionally and nationally. Gateway and Bethel Park have both received national attention in the past few years and WH dropped both of them... Bethel Park twice and Gateway badly.
Just sayin'...
