So tonight at work, this kid gets himself a $120.00 tab but when it's time to pay, he tells us he doesn't have enough money. Now, we are reasonable and try to work it out with him. We let him try the ATM and stuff but he says he doesn't have it. After a while, he decides to bolt out the door but my boss is hot on his tail.

I follow them out to make sure no one gets hurt but by the time I do, my boss is bringing him back in, against his will. We get him in, he finally gets a buddy to pay it and my boss tells the kid to GTFO.

So, I get ready to leave work with a co-worker and what do you know, the kid and his buddies are waiting in the parking lot. My first thought is they are waiting for my boss and going to jump him when he comes out. So I go back in, tell my boss, and about that time a sheriff pulls up. The kid is going to try and press charges against my boss because he was "roughed up."

After discussions between the parties, the kid ends up getting arrested because he is intoxicated and just 20 years old! This kid thought he was all cool and going to get my boss in trouble and he's the one in jail this evening.

Moral of the story:
If you're 20 years old and intoxicated, do NOT call the cops to file a complaint against someone for something YOU did.

Oh hell, what a night!

haha yeah, that was my first thought. i am surprised the cops didnt put two and two together and charge your boss for serving a minor.

however this story reminds of the ones where crack heads call the cops because someone stole their crack.

You sevred alcohol to a minor without asking for an ID.

Moral of the story:
Don't serve alcohol to underage kids.

Yeah, true on the 20 and having a 120.00 tab built up on drinks.

What tab? I don't know about a tab, how bout you Leonardo, you know anything about a tab?

So not only did you sell alcohol to a minor, you sold $120.00 worth of it to a minor. How dumb do the cops there look on this one.

Maybe the kid had a fake ID that they thought was real before serving the drinks. Wouldn't that keep the place out of trouble?

yeah that was my first thought too....sounds like a bar.........hmm...

My fav place will run a tab for someone..but they must leave a credit card AND ID to ensure payment.

Sounds like both coulda been in a lil trouble here possibly.

^^No doubt. Unless you personally know the person ya cannot allow that to happen in a bar setting. Hell no.

Ive ran a tab at the place i frequent on occasion with no collateral, but they know me, its my buddies bar, and knows Ill settle it that night or the nxt day.

Sorry gentlemen. I'm a DJ at a gentlemen's club and he was drinking before he came in. The tab was from dances.
