I don't think he has too much of a chance to go #1. But to say he has zero chance is stupid. Of course he has a chance. Even though I doubt it happens, if the right team wins the lottery he could. Stranger things have happened.

No.

The only one to test Wall at the top is Cousins. Teams have had their eye on Wall since the 1st game of the season.

^^ SQ, fine, completely ignore something right that I said that completely proves you wrong if you want.

If the Jazz end up with the first pick, they WILL NOT TAKE WALL.

ESPN has said it, as well as saying it's really the only shot Turner has to go #1, because Turner fills a team need for the Jazz, something Wall and Cousins don't.

So don't say he won't go #1 because if the Jazz get that pick, Turner WILL go #1.

They still don't take Turner. They either trade the pick, or trade someone like Millsap to make room for a Cousins, or pick Wall and use him as trade bait.

You are wasting the #1 pick by taking Turner.

yeah...drafting the best collegiate player who will make an immediate impact and probably vault the jazz up to one of the top teams to beat in the western conference sure seems like a waste to me...

Thunder, I just think there's enough of a question as to what position he'll actually fit best for teams to think twice about where he should be taken. Who knows, maybe he stays another season and solidifies his entry.;)

Maybe if you weren't a stubborn dick and so quick to put down any counterargument I wouldn't need to bring other people's opinions into this as my own would be good enough, except its not for you.

And ytown, Turner would play the 2 or 3 for Utah, wherever he fit best, they just don't need him to run the point anytime soon, which is why Wall wouldn't go there if Utah somehow lands the 1st pick.

That's a joke right? To think Evan Turner in his first year in the pros takes any team to the top is a little ridiculous. Plus Kirilinko is a similar player to Turner, only better.

Turner would have to play the 2, and I don't know if that's a good fit for him.

Plus, isn't Boozer a free agent after the season? Why couldn't they let him go and just sign Cousins?

Turner isn't a PG in training. He's way too turnover prone to be a successful PG in the NBA, he's going to be a successful 2 or 3.

And if the Jazz do get the pick and face that dilemna, why can't they have Williams play off the ball a little more? He played with Dee Brown in college, so he can share the ball.

read what i wrote...

the jazz are what, tied for 2nd the western conference, right now. They already are a top team...ET would help close the gap between them and the lakers.

its not rocket science...although, to you it may be...

Honestly? Who knows.

But I do know they already have a perennial all star at the 1, so why would they take Wall? They wouldn't.

And why get rid of Boozer for Cousins? The NBA is a win now league unless you're trying to rebuild, and sorry the Jazz aren't looking to rebuild they're looking to win.

Sorry if logic racks your brain SQ.

If there is any doubt there then he doesn't put the Jazz over the top, because that's what they need. They're a lot further behind the Lakers than a rookie Evan Turner.
