Has anyone ever eaten at one of these places? I went to one last weekend because it came highly recommended from a friend of mine.

We had Onion rings, wings, a fish sandwich, and the one thing I was really looking forward to...mashed potatoes with Guinness gravy.

Onion rings were decent, wings were average at best, fish sandwich was terrible, and the potatoes were instant mashed potatoes (which normally isn't bad unless they really taste like the are instant) and the gravy tasted more like piss than Guinness.

Did we just hit this place on a bad day or what?

Oh, BTW we both have had the shits really bad since eating there.

The worst part other than constantly shitting for half a week, was having to tell my friend who recommended the place, how much it sucked. His reaction was like I had just punched his kid.

We have one near my town but I've never been. There was a work crew staying at the hotel I work at and my manager would always suggest they go there...then the foreman told me the food sucks everytime and that he only goes because my boss usually pays, lol.

We tried it once when we still lived in Tallmadge and it was decent. I wouldn't go back there again when I could go to other places like Friday's and Outback. They had just opened and they had some pretty good deals on beer, so I pounded down several of those during dinner.

We have one here in Hilliard. The only two things I ever get are Chips & Queso and a Buffalo Chicken wrap.

I've never been to one but I hate them based on their stupid "Welcome to Beefs!" commercials.

Only one time. We were in Myrtle Beach last summer, and thought we'd try this new BBQ joint out called Sticky Fingers. Get there and the wait was 2 hours, so we looked across the parking lot, and saw this little joint. Drove over to check out the wait, and could get right in. Of course, I've always heard about the one in Florida where the Tribe used to have spring training, so we figured it had to be good.

It was average at best, but we were so hungry that it tasted O'k at the time.

Beef's closed in the town I live in. I wasn't impressed by the food either, I would actually grade it just below Applebee's. Shocking as that sounds.

The Beefs in Hilliard was my first job. The food is alright, but I had the typical first job experience: People thinking they are kings of the world because they are a manager at a restaurant, workers arguing all the time, and an owner who was as Jekell-Hyde as they come.

Beef O' Brady's is average at best, worse than Applebee's (sad as it is) but better than fast food.

Now, Sticky Fingers...THAT is a great BBQ place.

I went to the one in Pickerinton several times before they closed it. Each time it was a worse experience. Way too expensive for the poor quality food, average at best service, plain atmosphere and cheap old TVs. Not a place I would ever recommend to anyone. The only reason we went back was the proximity to where we live.
