Hickson having a great game so far, been able to score and get a good amount of rebounds.

Yes he does, I can't wait to see what he does next year with a full off season to work out and get better. It'll be nice having a player like Jamison to mentor him and give him some tips as well. If JJ can get that 15-18ft jumper down & improve defensively, he will be very good. Right now, LBJ is doing everything but lay the ball in the basket for JJ.

Its the perfect storm for a player like JJ. He has three solid veteran bigs to help mentor him down low and he doesn't have to be thrown into situations where he may not be ready for (i.e. playoffs and 4th quarter situations). He gets a ton of easy buckets early from Bron to boost his confidence which is great.
He is going to be groomed to be fully unleashed after next season. He will have this summer to work on his jumper and the defensive skill will just come with time and hard work.

Clearly JJ will regress and become a horrible player if Jamison mentors him. Hmmm, they just said outside of Jamison getting in early foul trouble his defense has shut down West with 5/15 shooting.
