Big Ben graduated high school and enrolled at Miami in the summer/fall of 2000 and he was redshirted that football season.
During the fall of 2000 John Cooper led the Ohio State Buckeyes to an 8-4 record.
In other words, Tressel wasn't even thought of as the OSU coach when Roethlisberger was being recruited.

He def is a Big boy. Never was a fan...never will be a fan. I find him really annoying.
