I don't think anyone could have foreseen Butler and Kansas State playing for a trip to the Final 4 back in November. Gotta love college hoops.

He should be a lottery pick IMO

Crawford has some serious potential at the next level--he's a talented all around scorer.

Officials screw over another small school. Just love it.

Absolutely amazing game! Can't even be mad at the loss.

Now I can fully cheer on Butler.

What?

Either way, Jordan Crawford will be a STUD scorer in the NBA. Unlimited range and can take it to the hoop.

How do you see that? Xavier got a gift that the game even went to overtime!!! Great game overall, that post was a FAIL.

I'd expect that shit from someone that goes to OSU...but you don't go there.

If you watched the whole game, you'd realize that "the" Dante Jackson set the team on fire after nailing their first 3 when they were down 19-4. He had the open shot, he missed it, end of story. :(

I honestly didn't know...I never read or followed that crap, just always remember that thread being at the top of the college bball forum.

Great game to watch. I wanted Xavier to win, but felt KSU deserved it after that missed foul call. Some nice 3's towards the end of the game. I wish the UK game was on but this game was a treat to watch.

jackson is one of their best shooters. what cost X the game was relying only on the 3 the last OT. They never tried to get to the hoop or work inside out. When a team is that tired you need to get the easy baskets inside.

Washington had like 12 losses, in a terrible conference.
Oh by the way, don't talk about conferences. Look how the PAC-10 did in the tournament, pretty good. How's the Big East doing?

OU finished NINTH in the MAC, beat one of the top teams from the Big East.

Blah, blah, blah.

First of all, that's incredible random.

Second of all, the NCAA tournament, this year more than ever, is NOT about conferences. Sure, the PAC 10 did well and the Big East is struggling, but do you really think the PAC 10 is better than the Big East? No.

The NCAA tourney is NEVER about conference, imo..

It's always about teams.

Not random, I waited until the game was over to bring it back up. Couldn't have been too random--you came back to this thread for some reason...

And that's exactly what I'm saying, so why did you bring the conference thing up? No one was doubting them after last weekend.

It isn't ever about conferences. If it was the champ would be from the ACC nearly every year.

You foul them in the back court as he's dribbling. Fouling up 3 is the right percentage play.

More games have been blown by not fouling than I can count. Memphis lost a national title 2 years ago for being stupid.

I love my Muskateers! Great game. I was frustrated watching the game because Xavier kept clawing back and then taking bad shots/making bad passes and letting KSU go back up by 7. I got sick of Pullen using the forearm shiver on Dante all night and Dante getting in foul trouble for trying to defend it. It's not a big deal though since they did miss the end of regulation call.

I think this team is really gonna be down next year. It's a safe bet that they'll lose Crawford. Love is gone. Holloway could bolt for the pros (unlikely, but everyone said the same thing about daequan cook). Thats 2 of the top 3 pretty firmly gone and possibly all 3 of the top scorers not returning. Not to mention the low post presence of Love and Holloway's ball handling that would be lost.
