One of the greatest movies ever that nobody talks about. The bar fight with the bikers is one of the classic scenes of all time.

Didn't the kid who starred in this movie get busted for armed robbery a few years back?

Also, if I remember correctly the guy who played the mob boss guy wrote the book this movie is based on.

Chazz Palminteri(Sonny) wrote the play and movie.

Lillo Brancato(the adult Calogero)-
In December 2005, he was arrested and hospitalized after he and a friend, Steven Armento, were shot by an off-duty police officer Daniel Enchautegui while the officer was investigating a burglary in New York City. The officer was killed, and Armento got sentenced to life-time prison for murder, while Brancato was only sentenced to three years for attempted burglary.

In December, 2008, he was cleared of second degree murder in the shooting of police officer Daniel Enchautegui, but was convicted of attempted burglary.

Sentenced to 10 years in prison on January 9, 2009, for his burglary conviction that led to the the murder of a police officer.

The kid that starred in the movie also had a part on the Sopranos. He got whacked by Tony for robbing that poker game.

Thanks Glory Days, that's what I thought. I remember him from the movie Renaissance Man with Danny DeVito and Mark Wahlburg as well. He did a spot on DeNiro impression in that movie.
