You gotta be kidding me! Hamlin just scrapes the wall, but could keep on going. This is such a huge turn-off. I used to love watching the Bristol races, but Nascar's calling of cautions these days for little scrapes like these annoy me to no end! It's bullshit! It's gotten to the point that I can't stand Nascar politics enough that I only watch the 2 Bristol races, and no more. Fuck Nascar.

It's called debris guy..anytime someone hits the wall and has a flat..they are gonna throw the yellow to make sure there is nothing on the track that someone can run over. And a lot of people used to love Bristol and hate it now..it's now b/c of the cautions..it's because of the new track configuration..they ruined Bristol.

Must be something, hell, even the seats are only half full.

I guess what agitates me about wall-rubbing, is I can go to my local track, and someone rubs the wall but keeps on going, there is no stoppage. Rubbing the wall is part of racing, keep going green!

It's probably half full because they charge 100 bucks a ticket.

They were projecting rain..so that turned a few people off..plus no race is selling out right now..combination of shitty racing and the economy. And yes..I agree it's part of it..but there isn't millions of dollars on the line at your local tracks. They always make sure the track is clear. Plus it's drivers safety as well..if they come down the track and get hit by someone b/c they didn't throw the caution..that's not cool. The local tracks don't reach the speeds they do in NASCAR.

Only if you were dumb enough to buy your tickets in advance...everyone knows it's not selling out. My bro in law and sis went this morning...right at the track..they paid $35 bucks a piece for their tickets.

Was it actually debris, or was it "debris", as in there were some popular guys ready to go a lap down?

I'm watching NCAA for the most part this week, so I haven't seen much of it.

Well when someone hits the wall..they throw the yellow instantly almost every time 'just in case'. You don't really have much time to react and check before throwing the yellow when there is that many cars on the track in one area.

Yes..it definitely is. But they are trying there best to make the racing better and bring fans back..I'll have to give them credit there.

You might as well just fast forward that DVR to about 20 laps to go when Logano wrecks and brings out the last caution! HAHA

You moved up to 12th in the fantasy league. :p Beating me by 15 points.
