that was poor

when it was 33-21 you have to lock it up and not give them 3s

I thought for sure Nova would come out and play inspired ball after looking like shit on Thursday

I think Nova could make a run in the second half, just being scrappy.

St. Mary's should be in good shape as long as they can use Samhan, but they also need to extend the defense and not let them hit a run of 3s. St. Mary's has the offense to keep matching two for two especially with the big guy. Just let them drive and pull up. Don't foul and give the refs and a chance to cheat and give em some three-point plays because you know they will for the favorite.

I took Nova out of the tournament in this game. I thought it was a miracle that they made it through the season and got a 2 seed. They didn't impress me AT ALL this year.

But, I hope I'm right. I think if they come out and push the tempo in the 2nd half they'll win.

St. Mary's can shoot and burn ya that way but if you're picking which one to take away, he's dominating this game

plus if you have two defenders around him he could turn and pick up a charge or something

Nova's pretty much looked like garbage since they started playing legitimate teams in the Big East. 4-6 in the final 10 games heading into the tournament. If this wasn't a Big East team (even though the committee "doesn't take that into consideration"), they wouldn't have sniffed a 2 seed. Same with Georgetown getting a 3.

I didn't expect them to lose this early in what is easily the weakest region though, so for my brackets sake I hope they can make a run here.

I don't think it will be easy for St. Mary's to deliver the dagger in this game.

Villanova will play a tough second half.

I know they can shoot the three, but he's the difference in the game. If Wright decides to make it his guards against their guards, he wins the game every time.

Has any two teams folded more than Nova and Texas in the second half of the season? Hopefully the cats can make a run.

No, I agree. You have to change how you're playing him. He's eating them alive.

If they hit 3s and beat you oh well but you can't just let this continue.
